Chapter Eight,A Cup Of Tea

The sun had rose with a good shine.I woke up,stretching my body in the bed.
Banggg!
I heard a sudden noise feom outside.I feared and I quickly wore my slippers,and ran outside to see what's going on.
Suddenly,I bumped into a marigold garland.I saw a weird looking man,On a ladder fixing the garland above my room's door.
"Are you okay?"He asked.I just showed him a thumbs up with saying nothing i rushed to mom.
"Listen,There,There,Above the kitchen door"She was talking to another weird looking man,and pointed towards the kitchen door.Actually,at that time ,there were a lot of weird looking people,e in my house,because I had never seen them before.
"Mumma,Whats going on?"
"Stupid girl,You don't know,We are going to meet Taehyung's parents today?We should make them familiar with Indian Traditions right?"She said with a warm smile and satisfaction.
I wasn't still able to understand as I had just woke up,and I had no power to understand anything right now.
Then,I understood and said a long yes to mom!I quickly went away in my room.I removed my phone from the charger and messaged Taehyung.
"Peek a boo!There is a surprise waiting for you,Be ready for it"
He replied immediately,
"What is that?"
"Stupid boy,Suprises aren't meant to be disclosed!"
"Yah,Yah,Okay"
I went into the bathroom with a smile on my face,jumping in joy.I brushed my teeth and took a bath.I decided to finish off my studies, before the meeting and I sat in my study chair with a sudden motivation.
Pa came in,
"You are awake already?Good morning!"
"Yes pa,Good morning"I said with a smile.
He went away then and brought me a cup of tea with bread.I smiled at him again.
"Why are you smiling and blushing so much?"He asked with a surprise.
"Pa, I am happy that I have received all happiness in my life.I feel like being the luckiest person in this world,And you both are doing so much for me,That i guess I dont even deserve it all!"
"Shut Up!Stay blessed always,my angel!"He said with a warm smile.
"Well,we have a surprise for you!"Pa said
"What?What?"
"Its a surprise!"
Well,That puts me into a dilemma,and now i understood why Taehyung wrote that message.I can say he wasn't being stupid.Anyways.
After 7-8 hours of studying,I came out finally,Mum suddenly came in front of me.
"Lets go shopping dear!"
"What?Are you serious?I have just now spended a lot money on trip!"
"But that trip was worth right?And Money decisions are mine and your pa's,So you better stop babbling and get ready!"Mum laughed.
I was touched again.I went into the room and ready.Me and my mom went to mall and pa stayed at home.
After spending sometime,We came back and fell on couch with shopping bags.
"Oh my my!"Pa said,"Anything for me?"
"Dont even think of that"my mom said and dad walks away to kitchen to bring us water with that annoyed face.
We all had decided to meet at 5 pm on video conference.It was 3:30 already.We all rushed to get ready.
I wored a Light blue Kurti with some light jewelery and some makeup.I made my hair into braids and came out.Mom was also looking like a 20 year old,but obviously I was better.
"God bless you!" They said.My mom had some tears,but I said,"Its moment to be happy and shared,Lets Cheer Up"I cleaned her tears and she nodded.
We all sat in the couch,and I joined the video conference through laptop.Taehyung and his family were also there.Taehyung was wearing a light blue shirt,black jeans and his hair were nicely combed.He looked really handsome,that made me blush.We had coincidentally wore light blue colour,Of course we were soulmates.
My mother and father,and his greeted by joining both hands.They said,
"When Katie came to our home,We already liked her a lot,But Eventually this was a great meeting and we will love to have her as our daughter in law!"
My parents continued,"Even when we saw,Taehyung,we felt he was the bestest man alive on earth,He looked sincere and pretty also."

Taehyung scratched his head in shyness and everyone laughed.We all decided to first do Korean rituals of Marriage ,where my family will come in Korea,and then in Indian Rituals,For that Taehyung's family will come in India.We all loved that evening,We drank tea together also,and Mine and Taehyung's wedding was announced on 29th December,20XX,Four years after so that we both complete graduation and find jobs.
"Wow Mrs.Kaur,Your house looks so pretty,just like one of those in fantasies"Mrs Kim,Taehyung's mother said with exaggerated happiness.
"Yah,They play important role in Indian Marriages!"My mom continued to explain our cultures and Tae's Mother also explained Korean Cultures.
After 4 hours of meeting,It was over,We were tired and we all changed into comfortable clothes,and we went to sleep.
Beep-Beep!!
I turned around and checked my phone while I was about to sleep.
"29.12.20XX♡,We are gonna be two bodies one soul."Taehyung's message said.
I blushed like crazy and replied.
"Indeed"
But we all know,Destiny cannot be trusted.
