NEVER MORE THAN JUST A FANTASY

Actually, she had already come to terms with the idea that her career would no longer take place on the big screen and while Cleopatra thought she was satisfied with that, it was the sudden call from Ryan Reynolds that reminded her that there was always a way to improve oneself and accomplish more in life. Thus, Deadpool 2 would be it, not exactly the kind of movie Cleopatra would have seen herself in at first, but at the same time she was incredibly happy that she had been presented with this chance.

However, before shooting could begin, Ryan and his team had decided that a dinner together would loosen up the new members of the cast a bit. While the well-known crew of Deadpool had been a solid team since the first part, there were now more unknown and new faces in the script than initially thought. If Cleopatra was honest, however, she would say that Ryan's unconventional and personal style was the best way to approach this career change properly. It made her feel right at home and would certainly make it easier once the film work started.

So after Cleopatra had put on an adequate dress, with matching hairstyle and make-up, she was just waiting for her Uber. She actually liked to drive through the darkness, especially alone and with the music at full volume, but Cleo knew herself better than anyone else. That' s how she knew that it would not be just one glass of red wine and that a ride home with the Uber would be safer. Therefore she pulled her leather jacket closer to her body and turned her head slightly to the left when she heard the engine noise of the black SUV. The vehicle stopped in front of the young woman and revealed itself as her Uber shortly after.

"Thank you so much", she spoke in a soft voice when they arrived at the restaurant, after which she got out with an elegant movement and said goodbye to the driver before she was greeted by a more than familiar face. Apparently Ryan and his wife, Blake, were the first to arrive at the restaurant. Cleopatra greeted them with a quick hug before a grin crept up on her lips.

"See you inside," Blake finally said when her husband was approached by the owners of the restaurant seconds after he hugged Cleo. Cleopatra nodded and quickly decided to have a cigarette before she went into the restaurant herself. Only now had she realized how nervous she was, something that didn't really suit her, yet it seemed like a natural reaction to all this.

So a gentle sigh left her lips as she moved away from the restaurant before putting a cigarette in her mouth and lighting it afterwards. With a quick movement, she put the lighter back in her jacket pocket while she took a long puff of her cigarette and slowly inhaled the smoke. She knew how unhealthy it was to smoke, though her excuse was that she only did it when she was really drunk or nervous. Not a really good one, but Cleo was willing to stick with it.

"Nervous?"

Cleopatra flinched at the man's voice, which seemed familiar to her, but apparently not familiar enough to decipher. With a shocked expression she looked to the right, where the stature of a man who was much taller than Cleo herself slowly revealed itself. However, rather than running away like a little girl, she tried to calm down with another puff of her cigarette before she gained some distance to better recognize the man.

Brown hair and a slim figure, however, she was unable to fully recognize his face in the twilight of the night, so it took her a few seconds to discover exactly who it was. Fuck. It ran through her mind as she hoped that he might have missed the fact that Cleo had a very public crush on Bill Skarsgård.

"Not really", she took another drag on her cigarette and felt much calmer than before, so she looked at Bill with a wry grin, who himself smoked the rest of his cigarette before throwing it on the floor and stomping on it. Cleo raised an eyebrow, "hmm not really eco-friendly Mr. Skarsgård," she then said and shook her head slightly. The grin wouldn't leave her lips for even a fraction of a second.

Without saying anything, he suddenly bent down, picked up the cigarette and threw it into the small garbage can to his left, before he too looked at her with a smirk. It had taken him a few seconds to realize who he was talking to, and when he finally recognized Cleopatra Kingston's face, he seemed to be looking forward to the evening even more than he first thought. It wasn't that he was ungrateful for Ryan's kindness, but he never expected the evening to take such a turn. So he slowly leaned towards her before speaking in a rough voice, "See you at the restaurant."

His hot breath had left goose bumps on her neck, but instead of causing nervousness in her, she just rolled her eyes, grinning. Cleo knew men like Bill, and although she didn't expect the Swede to be a full-fledged player, she couldn't wait to step into the ring with him. So when Bill took off with a wink, Cleo decided not to react, instead she put out her cigarette and threw it in the trash can, before walking quickly past Skarsgård and into the restaurant in front of him. She wouldn't let herself be intimidated that easily, even though it shocked her to know that he had heard how she once felt about him.

"You should be very careful with what you put on the Internet," the Swedish actor whispered to her after Ryan Reynolds finished his welcome speech and everyone found themselves in small groups with a glass of champagne in their hands. Among them - Cleopatra and Bill. With a narrow smile on her red lips, she looked at the actor before shrugging her shoulder.

"Apparently you must have liked it, otherwise you wouldn't be standing here," she countered with a soft and warm voice as her eyes looked into his. Without averting their gaze, they both took a sip of their drink before Cleo was the first to hesitantly remove her intense gaze. She almost sighed softly, but drowned it in another sip of champagne.

"I love it when women sexually harass me over the Internet," Cleo raised an eyebrow as she noticed Bill taking a step towards her again before finally leaning against the wall behind him by her side. One hand was in his pocket while he held his champagne with the other. Bill's eyes wandered smoothly through the small group and while Cleo admired the sight, a grin formed on his lips.

"Admit it, you still have a crush on me," he leaned his head in her direction and caught her just as she was about to remove her gaze. Cleo, however, rolled her eyes merely, came a step closer and looked deep into his eyes. While it almost felt like Bill had actually won, Cleo just started grinning cheekily.

"I don't know what you dream of at night, Skarsgård, but you were never more than just a fantasy", her grin grew and she leaned even closer to him, her warm breath leaving gentle goose bumps on his neck, while her hand lay gently on his jaw, "see you, darling".

Similar to him, she winked at him before she moved away from him, leaving Bill with a narrow grin. A gentle tingling remained where her hand had been before and unconsciously his own hand moved to his jaw. He didn't expect her to leave such an effect on him, but it was just an encouragement to him to make things more interesting. For now, however, he would hold back and look at her from a distance. It was immediately clear to him that Cleo would not make it easy for him.
