Chapter 5

Kalyla's pov:

I walked downstairs and saw keria and jada standing there holding their heads down making this momment even sadder, i finally made it to the last stair. I could feel the tears buliding up but i held them in because i know if i shed one tear they would break down and cry. " we'll give y'all some time alone." I heard august say but i didn't look up to see them walk out the house. Once i heard the door close I broke down. The tears start to flow like a river down my face. They both looked up at me, keria grabbed me and hugged me. Jada joined in I could hear them sniffling, making my heart break even more. I mean these girls was here when i had no one, They was there when i fell into a deep depreesion after my dad passed away unlike some people." I love you guys." My voice coming out as a muffle do to my head being burried in keira chest. " We love you too girl, and we always will." Jada said as she kissed my forehead and laid her chin ontop of my head. " Yeah and we'll come down there and beat jaylen's ass if you need us to." Keria said as she held me tighter. We all brust out laughing, then once again it became slient. " You should get going we don't wanna keep them waiting. " We all nodded our head in agreement. " So, um i call yall when i get there." I said as i picked up one of pink suitcases. Jada grabbed 2 and keria grabbed the last one, August put most of the bags in the car I think  I dont know.

On the other hand...

August 's pov

Jaylen and I walked to the car in complete slience, and this was starting to make me
Mad. I unlocked the car and She hoped in, followed behind me. Once I got in I started up the car. I turned my head to look at Jaylen. "Baby girl What's wrong? "
" Nothing just thinking, August i gotta ask you something."
"Wassup baybe?"
" You promise me that you'll love me no matter what?"

Ok that shit kinda threw me off, I mean what kind of question is that? I looked in her eyes and saw something but i couldn't tell what it was.

"Of course bae thats why i married you."
" August you don't know how much that means to me, I love you."

Before i could answer she leaned over and smashed her lips on mines. My eyes grew with surprised but that didnt stop me from kissing her back. The kiss start getting heated, my hands are currently on her ass grabbing. I heard the car door opened but I ingroned it, Someone cleared their throat making me and jaylen break apart. I turned in my seat and it was Kalyla.

" I'm ready to go."

She turned to look at the girls that was standing on the corner and did this pitiful smile that could break anyone's heart. " I love you guys. " Kayla ran to them for one last hug. I could tell jaylen was getting angry for some reason but I didn't ask, I had enough of her stupid attitudes. After what seem as for ever Kayla got in the car and put on her seat belt. I turned around in my seat so I could look at kayla. " You Ok 'ma?" She looked up at me and nodded her head. I turned back around and start the car up. We pulled away from the house and I began driving. I could hear some one sniffling it must be kayla u thought to myself.  I looked her thru the rearview mirror and saw her leaning her head on the window with her headphones in, I guess she's  listing to music. Tears slowly rolled down her cheeks. I shook my head and turned my attention back to driving, Lord only knows what this child is going thru! I hope that living with us will help her .

Kayla's pov

" Don't cry kayla, That's a sign of weakness you can't let Her think you weak..not now not ever. "

I told myslef but end up crying anyways. I looked out the window and watch the tresses and houses fly past as August drove. I don't live with her, I don't even wanna be near her. I slowly closed my eyes and listened to my music trying to pushed away the fact that I'm the car with this monster and her husband. " Don't worry princess it's gets better along the way." I imagined my dad telling me this when we was struggling. He's right it will get better for me No matter what....she will pay for what she did to dad, to me and most importantly my childhood.
