If we all stopped thinking about what the world has to offer us and start thinking about what we have to offer the world, the world would be a better place. Everybody needs to start thinking of all the modern day luxuries and innovations as what they are, privileges, instead of what we treat them as, rights. If we all look at everything for what it really is, we would be able to better ourselves and the world.

Never give a child the mindset of a soldier who has seen only bad in the world, but especially without giving them the skill set they would need to defend against the enemies they are taught to think are out there, and never ever let them feel little. It might also be wise to not let someone with the mindset of a soldier who has only seen bad in the world who also shows great intelligence stop to reflect on their life, especially if they have a dark or waning moral compass.
If the human race does ever manage to find a cure-all for every disease, it will need its own cure, and that cure will, in turn, need its own cure and so on, because the human race will never be satisfied with the world the way it is. We will always be trying to perfect the world when the only reason it's a place worth living in is due to its imperfections, and we will always be trying to find solutions for problems, even if the problem was once a man-made solution, or the perceived problem isn't one that should be fixed.

Anyone who goes against people being themselves and expressing themselves in whatever way they want to only show that they are afraid to be themselves over fear, and I feel only pity for them. They cannot see that fear of being yourself will only harm you, and that anything or anyone you might be afraid of losing if you start being yourself isn't worth having in your life if it means you have to hide who you truly are

We are all fighting our own wars every day.
One of the greatest challenges every individual growing up in the 21st century faces is finding the right balance of empathy. One has to avoid becoming completely numb to other people while trying to avoid drowning in the despair of watching people suffer atrocities every day. Unfortunately, the reason this challenge exists is because almost everyone before has failed to succeed.
