001; Alliance?

"NO! NO DON'T DO IT!" As she broke out in cold sweat shaking, screaming, shivering she could feel someone shaking her, but she just assumed it was part of her nightmare.

"TAKE ME INSTEAD! NO, MOM, NO!" Suddenly she was shaken awake by her father.

"Are you okay Sahara?" Her father asked.

As she wiped the sweat off the forehead and sat up her vision focused.

No of course she's not okay.

"Yes Dad, I'm fine. Just a nightmare."

"Well.. Okay. Come downstairs for breakfast! I want to spend some time with you before you leave for Hogwarts!"

If her father was concerned he didn't show it, but she knew, deep down he was. Her father was a muggle and wasn't a big fan of magic, but he tried not to show it for Sahara. Sahara's late-mother was a witch and who died in a cruel, cruel way. Well, people say she is dead, but Sahara isn't sure if she believes it.

"Okay dad." Sahara groaned.

She loved Hogwarts, but hated the people. She never had any friends. The Weasley twins and Lee Jordan pranked her as if no one else was in the school. Not to mention she was always teased for her not-so-obvious-obvious crush on Cedric Diggory.

Sahara pushed off the blankets that covered her legs and got up. She picked some simple muggle clothes, light-washed ripped jeans and a low cut V-neck crop top, out of her closet. She then got into the shower after feeling gross from her nightmare.

She walked downstairs after getting ready to see her father sitting at the table in the kitchen.

"Hey sweetheart, come have some pancakes and coffee."

"I don't like coffee Dad." Sahara said as she sat down and poured syrup all over pancakes.

Her father scoffed and looked out the window to see the post-man. They lived in a muggle town in the midst of London. Sahara was born in London on June 2nd 1978, but shortly after moved to California. Her father was extremely American, but decided to attend college abroad. Apparently he had met her mother in a pub. They never actually got married, they just had Sahara.

Her mother had gone missing not long after she was born. A heartbroken father took Sahara to America to raise her with his father. He ended up meeting a lovely muggle woman, Lorelei Tomson, and got married. That was the only mother Sahara knew. Lorelei had sadly died of cancer a few months back, as had Sahara's grandfather.

Sahara's Dad - Wyatt Smith - recently brought them back to London after connecting the dots of his daughter's accidental magic, neighbors talking about some school called Hogwarts, the neighbors realizing Sahara's accidental magic, and realizing Sahara's biological mother saying she was a Witch on accident. He thought it was some silly joke.

Wyatt was a devoted father, he spoke to the neighbors that he overheard speaking of this 'magic' and asked about schools for her to attend. They spoke highly of Hogwarts, despite the fact that the American school was Ilvermorny. That was when he finally took her back to London in 1986.

Sahara's owl, Cia hooted as she ran through the wall at platform 9 3/4. Cia still wasn't used to it and it was Sahara's 5th year at Hogwarts.

After giving her father a hug and a wave goodbye she got into the Scarlet train to go find a cart. A couple minutes of walking later, she found an empty one and sat down with Cia on her shoulder.
