It was a turbulent time in Silla, and the celestials could only put their trust to the white dragon who had descended in order to correct the prophecy. No one saw this coming. Everyone thought that the King's death would put some sense into Hyuk's mind, but it seems the prince had been overshadowed by his greed.
As the scenes unfolded before their eyes, another celestial dragon was close to descending to Silla to follow the white one. It was the blue dragon, who had always held Ara in his heart.
He had known her, earlier than any man on Earth alive. Even before Hyuk. Even before Young. Unfortunately, the moment Ara met Young, the half blooded imoogi, she only had her eyes on him.
Not even Young knew this, but it was a fact. Ara fell in love with him first before he did, and behind their tragic story lies Lee Donghae's agony that he had been kept deep within him for so long.
The Blue Celestial Dragon loved Ara so much that he let her go knowing what would make her the happiest. Well, he never had her in the first place. He watched over her and sometimes would find himself smiling genuinely at how happy she looked in another man's arms. But dark times had finally arrived, and of all people, she was the one who was put at risk.
It was autumn that day, during White Celestial Dragon's season, and his fellow celestial promised she would save her, not for him, but for the lower proto dragon that was once prophesied to rise as a great dragon during that time. All the celestials knew of Ara's sacrifice just to be with Young, and despite his protest, he had tried to accept it calmly. He had always been like that. He was born to be like that. Besides, how could he argue with one stubborn and dignified woman?
But how unfortunate! The white celestial dragon tried her best but everything turned out to be a failure because of other imoogis' intrusion. Ara was passed on like a ball from one hand to another, until she fell into Hyuk's hands once more.
Watching from above, the pain he had been enduring for so long turned into anguish, a devastating one that hurled thunder and lightning and storms over the skies of Silla.
The pain of a celestial dragon from above, whose love was as gentle and pure as him, along with another half blood's cry of sorrow from below, turned the entire Silla upside down. Their anguish was finally seemed to be heard by the gods, that all evil and those responsible for the devastation were punished severely with a curse so that they could not meddle with destiny anymore.

Just along Yalu river, in a deep, dark cave behind the bamboo forest, Lee Donghae was lying deliriously while groaning in pain. His body hasn't fully recovered yet from his intervention back at the Cherry Blossoms House, and what's worse, his season has long passed, yet he still braved flying North and spent his remaining energy.
Gasping for air had his lungs aching and the more he tried, the more he coughed blood. He was well aware that his stay has been long overdue, and he needed to go back to where he belongs soon, but since he already violated the rules and was starting to suffer the consequences, he might as well just go till the very end.
Being the Blue Celestial Dragon, he is only responsible for spring. A season which mirrors his delicate eyes, his sweet and bright smile, and his gentle and calm movements as light as the spring breeze. His duties are bound only to the aspects of nature, and going beyond that requires a hefty price. But just like the White Celestial Dragon, he simply couldn't keep still.
Not until he makes sure Sandara's sacrifice won't be put to waste again, even if that means taking all the pain while seeing her belong to another man. Well, just because he was used to it, it didn't mean it didn't hurt.
