My sapphire eyes catch the light of the moon as I stand under the oak tree overlooking my mother's gravestone.
I don't have anymore tears to shed for her. The sadness is still there, but I'm too tired. Too tired of crying.
I set down the lilies in front of her grave stone. They were her favorite flower. She would always have a vase full of them in her room on the window sill.
I lift my face up to the sky and close my eyes, feeling the breeze weave through my hair, causing the long locks of blonde hair to flow like a river off to my left. I can also feel the silk of my dress rub against my skin as the breeze continues to flow through the cold night air.
The silk dress was a gift from my mother before she died. It's a long, blue silk dress, with long sleeves and matching shoes. It has a turtle neck that covers all of my neck in the soft silk. The dress is form fitting, but not too tight. It's perfect.
I smile to myself as I remember how perfect my mother was. She cared so much, and she was beautiful. She knew what every one liked, their preferences, and went to every single one of her friend's celebrations. She also supported me in everything.
I wish I could see her one last time.
I start to hear whispers, and I look around, wondering who or what is whispering. I manage to make out a few short words.
"Be careful what you wish for"
I see shadows crawl from my mother's grave, black as oil. They black out the lilies, and move towards me. They crawl up by blue silk dress, and I see a flash of my mother before the world fades to black.

Sorry this one is shorter than the others. I just didn't know what else to do for this one. I usually try to do At least 1000 words.
I decided to have each short story be connected. The first short story I did gave me the idea of how I would do it. I hope that this will become an interesting thing that people will love.
I'm taking suggestions for different short storys right now, so please give me ideas. It can be a broad theme, or it can be specific.
