Chapter 3

-Todoroki's P.O.V.-

"So you're telling me, that I'm carrying a baby?!"

"Yes."

"Me, a human male, with no womb, no eggs, nothing. And still am able to carry a baby"

"Again yes, but you are slightly wrong in the first sentence," she said clutching her clipboard.

"Is this some kind of sick joke??"

"No, It's very much real as confusing it may be."

I looked at her in confusion. "You are a male, yes, but you do have a womb, you do have eggs. And yes it is possible for males to bear children. It's just really rare and your one of few men it happened to." She further explained as she scanned over her clipboard. She later added, "Since it was a recent discovery, most of those men were taken into different research facilities to conduct all kinds of different experiments. Unfortunately only a few made it out alive, some without their babies." I paled at this. The thought that I could possibly die from even having this baby frightened me. From this day on, I knew that I would never have my life as normal as it was before. As she looked up from her clipboard she saw my now tear-stained cheeks and made one of the most pathetic attempts in comforting me. 

"D-don't cry, you'll be completely fine I promise, I won't tell anyone else, so for your whole pregnancy I'll be your doctor," she said smiling with a weird glint in her eyes.

"Was that suppose to do something?" I said wiping away stray tears.      

"Eh?" She voiced, cocking her head to the side.

"I said, was that supposed to comfort me." "You can't say such things and then say 'you'll be fine' and expect me to be relieved." I fumed scoffing at her dumbstruck expression.

-3rd person P.O.V-

Shoto stormed out the hospital fuming. He could believe let alone wrap his head around the thought of being pregnant. He went inside his car and cringed at the idea, don't get him wrong though, Shoto respects all mothers and what they had to go through once they got the news they were expecting, but the problem for him was that,

He was a man.

'A freak' 'A fucking abomination to the earth' 'Your not normal so why would Katsuki love you'

'A man having a baby?! Who's ever heard of that?'  ' I've always thought that Katsuki and I were going to adopt when ready, but this?!'  ' What the hell did the heavens plan for me?'  ' For all we know that baby probably won't even make during birth or pregnancy!'   'How's Katsuki gonna react?'  'Will he leave after finding out?' 'What will Momo and Mother and my siblings think about this?' 

Shoto's head was like a pool of thoughts, filled to the brim with questions and depressing scenarios.  He breathed out a  shaky breath as he tried to figure out ways to inform Katsuki on their new "situation". He made sure to calm himself and not let his emotions take over, all while he slowly drove himself home, driving cautiously to not meet in an accident. Soon enough he finally reached home. Quietly gathering his things from his car, locking it and moving to open the door. Shoto opened the doors only to be met with complete darkness. Unfortunately, the one he was looking forward to seeing was still at work.

"Of course he's not here, right when I need him the most," he said sighing, his calm facade beginning to crack. "W-will it always be like this when the baby comes?" he muttered using a hand to "cover" his chocked sob, with tears threatening to fall from his eyes.
