Avu: I know. Jai how is dad?

Jai: Oh yee he is much better now

Avu: I wanna meet him

Jai: Sure. In evening, badi ma is not at home. Gossiping with ladies of society. Then we can go

Avu: Ok

In evening, somehow sneaked in the home and went AU's room. Jai locked it. Avu was almost in tears seeing him. Jai kept a hand on her shoulder.

Jai: (whispered) Be strong. Don't cry. Only you are his strength

Avu nodded and controlled her tears. She went and sat beside him.

Jai: Bade papa see who is here

He opened his eyes and looked at Avu. Avu took his hand in hers. Tears rolled down his eyes. Avu wiped them off.

AU: Avu

Avu: How are you?

AU: Bass tujhe dekh lia to ab bilkul theek hu

Avu: Dad I am so sorry

She said with guilt.

AU: Kyu? Tune kuch galat ni kia. Mein khush hu tu himmat krke bhaag gyi. I am proud of you princess

Avu kissed his forhead.

AU: But beta why you came?

Avu: Dad you were not fine. How could have I not come?

AU: You shouldn't have. Ab dhyaan rkhna aur jldi wapis chli jaana

Avu: I will go back soon. Don't worry. You just take care of yourself

After talking for sometime,

Jai: Avu we should go back

Avu: But I wanna stay more

AU: Your mom won't be happy seeing you

Avu: (sighs) Ok

Jai: Avu we will again come tomorrow. Don't worry

Avu nodded and kissed her dad's cheek. Jaineet left. They had dinner with his family. Jai's parents loved Avu as their own daughter.

After dinner, Jaineet were sitting in Avu's room talking about their college basically Jai was asking about Sid. Protective brother!!!!!

Avu's phone rang. She saw the collar id. A smile came on her face. She looked at Jai. He understood and left the room. She picked up the call.

Sid: Maadoo I am so so so so sorry I couldn't reply your calls. I was hella busy with lectures, then this stupid project. I am very very sorry love

Avu chuckled.

Avu: It's ok love. I know you were busy

Sid: Oh thank God I thought you will be mad at me for not picking your calls

Avu: No I am not. But yee you will get punishment for this

Sid: Ok. Anything for my princess. Bring it on

Avu: You have to take me on a date when I am back

Sid: That's it. For sure babygirl. We will go on as many dates as you will say

Avu: Promise?

Sid: Yess promise

Avu: Yaayyyy

Sid: Ok ok enough of it. Now tell how are you? Did anyone say something to you? Tell me I won't leave him/her. You taking care of yourself or not

Avu: Shant shant jaan. Don't worry about me. I am fine. No one said anything to me. I am totally fine. Just that Jai came to know about us and was asking a lots of questions about you

Sid: Oh ok. Good

Avu: Don't wanna know what he asked?

Sid: Nopes. I don't wanna interfere in your bro sis talk. Obviously he will be protective about you. Every brother is. Achha I am missing you so much

Avu: Sid I just came today and you are missing me

Sid: Of course, I can't live without fighting with you, hearing your tantrums

Avu: Achha ok baba. I am also missing you. Don't worry I will come back soon

Sid: Good. I am waiting for you

Avu: Hmm. Chl ab ja pdle

Sid: Kya yaar Avu thodi baat krle. Mera mood nhi hai

They kept talking till late night and drift of to sleep without cutting the call. Next morning, Sid woke up and saw his call going.

Sid: (in mind) Must be sleeping let's not disturb. I don't even remember when we slept last night. When I am with her, I forget the time only

He was smiling thinking about her and cut the call and went to get ready.

2 days passed like this. Avu used to sneak in the home and meet her dad. She was packing to go back. Jai was helping her. Suddenly his phone rang. He listened.

Jai: Avu actually my friend met with an accident. I gotta go there

Avu: Ok

Jai: I won't be able to drop you

Avu: It's ok Jai

Jai hugged her and kissed her forhead.

Jai: Take care and go back safely

Avu: You too take care

Jai left. Avu went outside with her stuff.

Avu: (in mind) I wanna meet dad once but ma will be at home only. Nothing will happen. I will be careful

She went inside somehow and bid goodbye to her dad. She reached the hall and.....
