Part 1

We were all standing in front of the gate looking at it "mama said to never go past the gate" "yea I wonder why" "she said it's very dangerous beyond the gate" Mae Emma and Norman discuss while staring at the gate.

"It's obviously not true" ray says I look at him confused "why do you say that?" Emma says "what could be so dangerous past this gate, the gate is pretty short" he said in a duh tone.

"Yea but if mom said don't go we shouldn't" Emma says in her high pitch voice "you really love her don't you" ray asks Emma in his usual bored tone

"OFC I DO" Emma replied loudly. I look down and see conny pulling my shirt sleeve I look down at her and pick her up "hey conny" I say happily with conny in my arms then I see Gilda and don.

"How come they never right to us or send letters" don asks everyone " I don't know maybe their having a lot of fun with their new family?" I say mor in a questioning tone. "Ok but we have still spent our years together I mean they are still our siblings" don replies.

"That's true but if their having fun I think we should be happy for them their probably just busy" Emma says changing the mood "exactly I agree we should be happy for them" Norman agrees

Me and ray stay silent until I asked "hey guys have you seen hakura?" I ask curious of where my bestfriends whereabouts "I think I saw her playing with Phil in front of the house" ray informed me "oh thank I'll see you guys later bye!!" I say walking away to look for Hakura

I run back to the house to see her playing with the little one is walk up and yell "HELLOOOO HAKURA" she looks at me and replies "stop yelling" I laugh loving how much I annoy her "OLIVIA" the kids yell before hugging me

"PLAY WITH US, WE ARE PLAYING PRINCESS" I smiled and kindly declined "im sorry guys but I actually need to talk to hakura" she looks at me confused but gets up " don't worry we'll be back soon I'm sure if not we can play tomorrow" she smiles and they all nod

We start walking to the library and we sit down "what did you need Olivia?" She asks confused. the truth is I overheard mamma talking to someone maybe herself abt conny being sold Bc she had low test scores, I was frightened at first but knew I couldn't show it but later on made the more I thought abt it, it started to make sense like why they never sent letters... Bc they were sold and god knows to who or why the thought gives me chills

I took a deep breath then grabbed her hand "you might not believe me but I overheard ma-" I was cut off by Phil and the little ones telling us dinner was ready "ok philly" we replied "I'll tell you later" I said as we walked out

"AHHHHHHHH" I heard Emma scream and ran to her "what's wrong Emma?!" I ask worried. She point to mister bunny damn she left mister bunny "what are we gonna do" hakura asks "the gate lights are still on and moms not back yet, you can still make it" he says from the corner

"Great let's go then" Norman says "wait I wanna come!" Hakura says "OK ILL TAKE CARE OF YOUR CHORES" Gilda yells as they run out of the house.

I look to the door and see ray leaning on it looking at me "wanna go to the library?" He looks at me and smirks god I hate when he does that "yes ray" I say rolling my eyes but still going to the library

"Ray?" I ask with my head on his lap while he reads a book "yes olivia?" He says closing his book and putting it beside him "I have to tell you something but I don't know how- well- I know how- it's just I don't- I mean you might-" he cuts me off by putting his hand on my head and playing with my hair

"Spit it out liv" I take a deep breath "promise you won't tell anyone or think I'm lying or crazy or anything?" H looks into my eyes "I promise" I sit up and look at him "I was walking pasts moms door this morning and heard her talking to someone or herself saying that conny was going to be sold Bc of her low test scores" I say and everything soon went silent

"I know you probably don't believe me but-" "I believe you Olivia" I sigh of relief and hug him "thank you" I say in his chest "I hope connys ok I don't know where or who she was sold to but all i know is that we are being sold"

He pulls me closer "hey let's stop talking about I don't want you to worry or anything, we can talk more about it in the morning. Besides I know your tired just sleep" I nod and close my eyes
Me and ray have always been pretty close and this was normal for us... but Despite what he said I can't he'll but think about it mama mentioned her low test scores, does that mean people with high test scores don't get sold? Or sold so soon? It was really bothering me but soon sleep took over me...

The next morning I wake up in the library still with ray, I look at the clock in the library and see it's about four in the morning Push rays should a bit "ray come on we should go to our beds so they don't look for us in the morning" he agrees and we both get up and walk to our beds and lay down

I wake up to kids jumping on me "GOOD MORNING OLIVIA" they yell at me and I embrace them in a tight hug "good morning little ones" I say before I let go and get up to get dressed

I walk downstairs and sit down but I notice Emma,Norman, and hakura acting really strange this morning "hey are you guys ok?" I ask them but they just say their fine

Today's gonna be an interesting day.....
