Falling; Akaashi Keiji

You and Akaashi have been dating for a long time. Some people didn't believe that you guys were dating because of how different your personalities were but both of you didn't mind it. You loved each other very much.  key word; loved
Akaashi has been distanced lately, he didn't smile as much, he's quieter than usual, and he doesn't call you pet names as much. He would just call you by your name instead of sweetheart, darling, princess, honey, etc. You didn't mind it at first but you began to worry. So you went to his friends for help.

"Hey Bokuto and Kuroo" y/n greeted.

"Hey hey hey y/n" yelled Bokuto.

"Its nice to see you y/n" said Kuroo

You giggled at their greetings. "It's nice to see you guys too"

"Is there anything we can do for you? " Kuroo asked.

"Yea actually, do you guys know what's wrong with Akaashi, he has been distanced lately and I don't know why. Do you guys know if he's alrigh?" y/n explained.

"Oh yea because he-" Bokuto replied before Kuroo covered his mouth with his hand. You looked at Kuroo with a suspicious look.

"Y/n I think it would be better to talk to Akaashi about that" Kuroo said as he laughed nervously.

"Oh ok" was the only thing that came out of your mouth but as you walked away from them to look for Akaashi, thoughts started to fill your head.

I wonder what's wrong. I hope Akaashi is alright.  What if he wants to break up with me? What if he thinks I'm being annoying? That can't be right. He said he loves my energy. Am I too much? Y/n started to overthink until she spotted Akaashi.

You stopped walking and hid behind a car. You saw Akaashi with a beautiful girl at the parking lot. Is he cheating on me? you thought. Akaashi and the beautiful girl he was talking to weren't hugging, kissing or anything, they were just talking and having a good time. Maybe they're just friends? But you saw sparkles on Akashi's eyes and you saw the genuine smile he gave her. When was the last time he had sparkle in his eyes when he looked at you? When was the last time he smiled at you like that? Tears were forming in y/n eyes. You ran back to your house and went straight to your bedroom. Y/n flopped into her bed. She slowly started to cry again.

Who was that girl? Is he cheating on me? No no Akaashi is better than that, he's not like that!! But he has been very distant lately.. Ugh I hate this, I hate this! Y/n thought. You were lost in thought that you didn't hear your phone ringing. You snapped out of it and saw 3 miss calls from Akaashi. You saw some text saying you need to talk and your heart started pounding.

•Time skip
3 hours later, it was 5:30 pm. Akaashi said to meet at his house cause he wanted to talk to you. As you got ready, you told yourself not to wear any makeup because you knew something bad was going to happen and you didn't wanna waste it. Plus Akaashi has convinced you that you didn't have to wear makeup to look beautiful, because you already are. Akaashi was full of sweetness and you loved him for that.

•Time skip
Y/n rang the doorbell and Akaashi opened it. You acted the same as you always acted as if you never saw the both of them at the parking lot. Akaashi gestured you to go in and both of you went upstairs to go to his room.

"Soo what did you want to talk about Akaashi" Y/n said while giving off a fake smile. Akaashi noticed that you called him by his name instead of babe or baby but he just shrugged it off.

"I'm just gonna be straight up Y/n. I-" Akaashi said but you stopped him from talking.

"Akaashi, stop right there" y/n sighed "I think we should break up"

"Oh" Akaashi said in shocked. He didn't see that one coming.

"It's probably for the best. You've been distanced lately, I shrugged it off at first and thought nothing off it. Then your friends acted weird when I asked about you. After that I saw you talking to this girl.." y/n began tearing up "I saw the way your eyes sparkled.. the way you smiled at her.."

"I'm sorry y/n but I think I've fallen out of love" Akaashi said as he looked at the ground.

There was a silence between the both of you. Tears stopped falling. But you swore you heard your heart shatter into a million pieces.

"It's okay, just know that I still love you very much and I hope she treats you better." Y/n finally let out. You gave him a final smile before walking out. As you were walking home tears began to fall... you couldn't stop crying..

"Maybe in another life... I'll be your girl Keiji Akaashi.. I will wait for you"
