Chapter-5

"Maddie?"

-Flashback-

"No,don't go" shouted Maddie.

"Why not?" Lisa asked in a calm tone.

"Just don't." Maddie answered,coldly.

"Tell me the reason." Said Lisa.

"I-I am caring about you. Y-You don't need to go. All the news are f-fake for sure." Maddie stuttered.

"Why are you stuttering?" Asked Lisa,suspicious.

"I-I-Shut up! Just don't go! I'm caring for you! All the news are fake! I didn't think you were dumb enough to believe it!" Maddie shouted through the phone.

Annoyed,Lisa said,

"Have you seen the news? Proof is provided." Said Lisa,trying her best to be nice.

"How would you know if it's real? Just don't go. You'll get hurt." Said Maddie.

Lisa sighed and lied,

"Fine."

Maddie sighed in relief and hung up which left Lisa confused by what Maddie had said and hung up without saying a proper goodbye. She shrugged it off and started sailing.

-End Of Flashback-

"Maddie?"

Lisa's eyes widened and stared at her in shock.

"Who's Maddie?" The Siren asked her,annoyed.

"And...who are you?" She continued.

Lisa shouted at her,

"Maddie,don't think that you can lie to me!"

"Fine,I'm Maddie. Who are you?" Asked The Siren.

"Lisa." Lisa replied coldly,pulling her cap of the hoodie down.

Maddie widened her eyes and started crying.

"You lied to me!" Shouted Maddie.

"You lied to me as well. Is that why you didn't want me to come here?" Asked Lisa,raising her brow.

Maddie nodded,helplessly.

"I'm not the only Siren here. There's more. You'll never find 'em,no matter how hard you try." Said Maddie,hoping Lisa would back off and leave.

But to her surprise,Lisa got closer to Maddie and said,

"You just gave it away! You JUST said that there were more Sirens. But,are you the one who killed the two men that came here?"

"It doesn't matter." Said Maddie,annoyed.

"Answer the question." Lisa said,coldly,grabbing Maddie's hair harshly as Lisa stared at her in an intimidating manner.

Intimidated by her actions and Lisa's piercing gaze,Maddie nodded,helplessly.

-On Land-

Lisa's friend,the 16-Year-Old girl started getting anxious as Lisa showed no signs of coming back.

Thinking she got caught by the sirens,she started crying.

An old lady heard her and came to her comfort.

"What's your name and Why are you crying,my dear? The old woman asked,calmly.

"My name is Ashley and my friend,Lisa has gone to investigate more about the siren attack. It's been nearly 2 hours and she still hasn't come back yet. I'm worried 'bout her." Through her tears,Ashley said.

"Well,Ashley,she will come soon. Have hope." Said the old lady,in a comforting manner.

Ashley wiped her tears and nodded with a smile.

"I mean...you can go there too." Said the old lady with a smile.

"How?" Asked Ashley With A Confused look.

-Back To The Big Rock-

"Were you forced to do this?" Asked Lisa in a calm voice.

Maddie nodded.

"Well,we might have to go on a little mission together." Said Lisa with a smirk.
