I once knew this boy by a beach. He had fluffy brown hair that was being thrown around by the crisp ocean air. His eyes as bright and blue like the ocean sparkled from the setting sun. It was like he was the perfect boy... We both had so much fun together sharing laughter and memories, until two summers ago.

"Jadien," my mother yelled from the kitchen downstairs. "Lunch is ready whenever you are hungry."

"Thank you mom, I'll be down in a little," I replied back. School had just finished two days ago which means that summer has officially started and I here stuck in my house packing for another move. I am definitely not going to miss school here in Washington. It is a Thunderdome in that school.

There are so many popular girls who think that are better than everyone leading them to bully. They mainly go for outcasts including new girls and what is referred to as "nerds" or the well-educated girls. Of course, I was once a new girl and it did not help my case because I was picked on for living in multiple places. But I'm used to it and I really don't care because no one can break me.

I have moved multiple times all around the country during my lifetime. But this next move is going to be permanent, we are not going anywhere. I am so excited to move back to California because I made a lot of good friends while I was there and I can't wait to meet them again.

My room is almost all the way packed except certain things that I want to take in my bag for when we drive to California and the bigger and heavier stuff. That stuff is for the movers who are coming over tomorrow to load our stuff into our moving truck. I finished packing the box that held all of my dresser decorations. I walked downstairs the stairs to the kitchen where mom was packing up the kitchenware like pans and pots.

She made me my favorite breaded chicken salad wrap with cucumbers and baby carrots. "Thanks, mom, this really made my day, being up in my room packing all as gotten to the best of me," I tell her laughing. "Why don't you go for a bike ride around the neighborhood, you should be able to get it out of the garage without any trouble," she replied.

That's actually not a bad idea, so I finish my amazing lunch my mom made and went upstairs and grab my comfort summer athletic wear. Which is a cropped coral pink tank top with black high waisted yoga pants? After I organize everything again because I made a small mess trying to find my clothes. I head back down the stairs and to the garage where my dad is.

"Hi there sweetie, how's the packing doing," he asked while moving some boxes around. "Hey there dad, I am doing good I'm actually almost done with packing all the stuff I'm putting in the truck. I am actually going for a bike ride for a little to get some air and vitamin D." I replied back to him. "Okay have fun and stay safe"

I grab my teal bike out from the garage and wave to him before hopping on the bike and riding away. The warm summer sun beams down on me throw the giant trees that surround the neighborhood. The nice breeze in my face and the scent of fresh-cut grass and blooming flowers filled the air. Some of my neighbors are outside doing yard work or sitting on their porches. When I pass their houses I give them a gentle wave and a smile.

I ended up riding my bike to a park where I sat and looked at the clouds in the sky. I wanted some quiet time to just think about everything that will happen when I get back to California. I sat under a tree for about 20 minutes and then I decided to head back home. I was about a 10-minute bike ride back home. I pull up into the driveway and dad is still in the garage and mom has joined him.

"Hey guys I'm back from my ride, I really needed that thanks for the suggestion mom," I tell her. "No problem sweetie, are you excited for moving," she asked. "Uh, duh. I am so excited about moving back to Cali. Now if you will excuse me I am going to go take a shower and finish packing." I replied while walking to the door.

After my nice and refreshing shower, I head back into my room and I jump on my bed. I went to check my phone to see if I had any text messages or notifications. I have two texts from my best friend in Cali. She and I have been texting and face timing ever since I moved away from Cali. She doesn't know I am moving back to California and in the same neighborhood on the same street.

Bestie: Hey there girl how has your day been?

Bestie: Also someone bought the house next door, I wonder if there is going to be a cute boy.

I giggled and started texting back

Me: I've been good, sorry for nor responding quickly I was showering from my bike ride. Also if there is a cute boy send pics.

Bestie: Oh, don't worry gurl! You're fine, also will do. I gtg need to head to work, TTYL!

Me: See ya!

She is the best person in the world. I am so glad we had become friends when we were in school together in California. We know almost everything about one another. I close out of the messaging app and I hop on Instagram and scroll through some art post and cute animal post. I love looking at different media of art.

After looking through Instagram I close out of the app and put on some music on Spotify. I put on my favorite playlist that I listen to all the time. "Now time to finish packing"
