Love Before

Part 4

The day passes by and I haven't seen him since that kiss. I can still feel his lips they were so soft and tasty. But I also feel embarrassed the way he acts.

My friend Selena spent a day with me in the hospital and brought my clothes so I can wear them and go to my house. It easy already 6 pm in the evening and I am getting ready to get out of this hospital. I wore my tea pink sweater and black skirt with black see-through leggings. I came put and look at Selena, "Let's go". She replied, "Okay but we have to be somewhere"

"Where?"

"We gonna have dinner silly, you just got discharged it's great news."

"I am not in the mood"

"Why what happened?", She got worried.

"Nothing happened, I just don't feel like going anywhere".

"I did not ask you I am just telling you that we are going to have dinner. Just pick up your stuff and I'll wait in the car". She ran out of the room after that.

We got in the car and drove to the fancy restaurant. It was so beautiful, the view was so great. We got our table near the window. We ordered two Steaks with Drunken Mushrooms and Blue Cheese Roasted Potatoes.
When we complete our orders I saw someone who looks similar coming towards us. When they came near the table talking to each other and sat across our table, I recognise it was Adam Cyrus. "Let's go somewhere else," I said.

"Why?"

"Because there is Adam across our table and I can't be here with his presence"

"Emma did something happened today?"

"No just get out of here"

When I stand up from the table, two boys came to us, one of them was Adam and the other one was looking so similar to him. The other boy said, "Hello Emma how are you doing?

"I am alright, who are you?"

"You don't know me? I am Adam's handsome brother Ash Cyrus. And why did pretty girl like you decided to marry my stupid brother?" Adam elbowed him.

I stayed silent.

"Can we join you?", His brother Ash asked.

"Uhh, n..."

"Obviously you wouldn't mind. Who is your beautiful friend?" He asked sitting down on the table. Adam sat between Ash and me with embarrassment.

"I am Selena, Emma's friend". Selena said.
They both ordered the same thing we ordered and Adam's brother keep talking and flirting to Selena all the time. On the other hand, Adam keeps looking here and there avoiding eye contact with me. Why is he so shy and rude. Our dinner was served and we started eating. Ash and Selena keep talking between our meal, it is making me angry. I stand up from the chair, "I am going to the toilet". And just ran away from there.

I got out of the toilet and saw Adam standing outside. I was thinking of ignoring him but he started walking towards me.

"Hi", he said.

"Hello", I said quite angry.

"I am sorry about my brother, he just doesn't think about anything before doing it".

"It's okay". I started to walk away but he stopped me.

"Wait. I wanna talk to you."

I turned around looking at him.

"I am sorry I ran away today without saying anything. It was a mistake made by both of us".

"What mistake?"

"That kiss was a mistake". He said looking down.

"Why did you say that?" I said with tears in my eyes.

"I don't know, but we should just forget about this." Adam said with cold expressions.

"Forget about kiss? What about the engagement?"

"What about it?"

"You want to break off this engagement right?"

He didn't say anything.

"Just tell me do you want this engagement or not?"

"I think we should go to the table. They both will be waiting for us." He said this and walk away from me. I don't understand what's up with his attitude.
When we both came to the table Ash and Selena were gone. There was a note on the table which read "Have a great time future Mr and Mrs." What great time. Huh. I remembered I don't have any vehicle to reach home.

"Let me drop you home. You don't have a car." He said coldly.
I didn't say anything and walk with him towards his car. He opened the car door for me. What a gentleman with rude behaviour. We both sat in the car, it was silence all way and we both didn't even talk to each other.

When we reached our home, I was getting ready to get out of the car, Adam's voice stopped me.

"You asked if I wanted to break off this engagement. My answer is", he came near to me, put his hand on my cheeks and reached my lips. In this moment I forgot about everything.

He started kissing me passionately. I pulled him towards me and in this moment I knew he also wants this engagement a try.
