Elena POV

I'm driving on a normal sunny day with really loud music playing "Bad Reputation by Joan Jett". I am nodding my head to the beat of the song. I love music. I'm such a huge rockstar girl for it. I am always playing music everywhere I go. I even have so many playlists from every decade and when to hear them. I'm on my way to Bar street where me and band will play our songs. I see six teenage girls driving with romantic music playing from their radio which I glare at them because they think their band is better than us.

Our band is called "The Rock of the House" due to the people around the bar saying we are the best rock band of the house and honestly I couldn't even agree more. Caroline is the lead singer of the band for a reason she has such a nice rockstar voice. Tyler and Matt are the guitar people they play so good you start dancing to the sound. Bonnie is the drum girl because who says girls can't play drums? She is the best drum girl in the world. I play piano although I can sing and play guitar but Im just to shy for it. If i ever do it, it would have to be a good day where I don't feel myself.

We only play artists whose names start with 'J' tonight. Jimi Hendrix. Jane Joplin. Johnny Cash. Jelly Roll Morton. Jack White. Joss Stone. The crowd showers us in rowdy applauses at the end of every song like they always do. They beg us for more at the end of our two hour set, but all it takes is such a good and beautiful smile from our leader singer Caroline so we can depart the stage.

After finishing up a show our band and I have some drinks from the bar in honor of doing such an amazing ass show. I honestly feel so good knowing we always do an amazing job at doing shows. We start celebrating by drinking shots which we spend like 20$ every time but it's worth the while.

I needed another shot after seeing how I managed to finish my two shots I had on my side. So, I slid my butt off of the seat, vaguely noticing the horny teenagers staring at me as I did, and declared, "I'm gonna grab some shots from the bar. Do you guys need anything?"

"I'll take another," Bonnie answered cheerfully.

"Me too," Caroline added enthusiastically.

"Us three," added Tyler and Matt hyped as ever.

I make my path over to the bar. There was a band playing in the middle of the tiny pub with their loud music and as a result the place was now packed. It made it relatively difficult weaving my way through the crowd, but after a few shoves and slick maneuvers, my elbows made contact with the dripping bar.

I immediately lifted my arms from the wood and wondered how I even made it when it was so crowded when Joe approached me.

"Hey Elena, what can I get you?" he asked me with familiar appreciative eyes and a huge smile.

Joe loves our band to the point he has posters, playlists of our songs, and probably the biggest fan of our band. That we know of but overall we appreciate him because without him there is no shots at Bourbon Joe Street.

"I'll just take 5 shots all from the same flavor for me and the band," I answered as my head drifted to the side. The band was in full performance mode and the crowd was cheering along. Joe gives me the 5 shots I pay 20$ like before and I'd only made it a few steps when the back of someone slammed into me, sending the shots of alcohol all down my front.

"You have got to be kidding me," I exasperated as the plastic cups toppled to the floor and I flicked the liquid from my fingertips.
