Thank You

Part 6

After we paid, actually he paid we decide to walk for a while. We were walking side by side this time and he was making jokes, lame jokes that makes me laughing so bad. I didn't hold back my laugh and whenever I was laughing he was smiling too, so caring and happily. After a while my belly was hurting me for laughing too much.

" Omg I cannot laugh anymore. It's been a while to laugh so much.". After that he was laughing at me.

"Omg can we sit down? I don't have any more power!"

"Yes of course!"

We sit in the park. It was evening and it didn't have many people so it was mostly us. We sat opposite form the lake. The sunrise was illuminate to the water and it was breath taking. I wish I had my camera with me. This view, this park and the person beside me were so beautiful, so I would love to take a picture of them. And that's what I did. I grab my phone and I snap a photo of all those in one picture. 

"No! Why did you take a picture of me?"

"Because the combination it's beautiful and I couldn't resist. But if you want, I would delete it "

For a moment he didn't say anything and that scared me. I think I screw everything. Damn it, I shouldn't have done that!!I looked away when I heard him laughing.

 "Of course I don't mind. But I think something is missing from the picture!"

"What?"

He just grab my phone and he took a picture of me and then he comes too close and said,

"The picture will be great with both of us in. Smile!"

He put his hand on my waist come close and he snap a picture with both of us in, the sunset and the great view of the park. I will be honest it's a really beautiful picture, with both of us smiling so happily to each other. Like a couple. Like a couple? What? My imagination is running.

"It's really dark, I think I cannot even see my nose!"

"That's true, but I still can see your eyes Emily."

My name sounds so nice when he said it. He makes it sounds so special when it comes out of his mouth. As I was thinking all this I could see his lips. They are not big ,not small the right size and they always have this pinky color. 

"What are you looking Emily?". God no! 

"Nothing I thought you had something in you cheek!". Hopefully a small white lie save me from Alex thinking that I despaired want to kiss him. 

"My cheek? And what I had?" 

"Nothing I told you I thought"

" Right"

"Alexander I think we should go"

"Why are you afraid of the big bad wolf, little red hood?"

"Of course, I am afraid of the big bad wolf. After all my hunter is not here to save me!" I said sarcastically and laughing. 

" So little red hood you have a hunter to call him yours?". It's this disappointed in his voice? And that sad look automatically? He is asking me if I have a boyfriend right now? 

"No the little red hood here doesn't need a hunter to save her. She is independent.". After what I just said his smile is back and more beautiful than ever. 

"That's nice to hear Miss Emily Brown".

I cannot take my eyes of him. In a small voice who came out as a whisper I told him, 

" We should go" 

"Yeah"

After we stopped looking at each other. He offer me his hand to stand up. 

" Thank you"

"Your welcome." 

To our way back we didn't say much. 

" Where did you parked?", he asked me. 

" I didn't bring my car, I actually live close so I prefer to walk."

"I can take you home. Its night and I wouldn't feel safe to let a girl alone back home"

" Alex I will be just fine!"

" No, I will take you home anyway my car is in the corner. Please Emily I will feel better.". I couldn't resist by the way he said it. 

" Okay. I am doing only because I don't want you to call me none stop to see if I am okay!"

" I couldn't anyway I still don't have your number"

"oh, right". He opened the SUV door for me and I smiled politely and said a small thank you. He started driving. I told him where I live so on our way he ask me,

" Are you going to the library this week?"

" I think so. Are you?"

" If you go I will. I mean if you want to study together?"

" I would like that" and he just smiled.

"So this is my house"

"Wow a big house but a normal with family of six"

"when we all used to live here it was full and sometimes not enough space for all of us"

"Big family, small space . Is it what they say?"

" I suppose"

We stayed like that for a minute who felt like hours. It wasn't a good idea to let him drive me home. After all he is a stranger. 

"So about what you said before. How am I supposed to call you without having your number?"

 "Are you asking for my number?". He just nod without breaking our staring. Time to play Emily!

 "If you want my number, you should find me in the library then!". Oh god I wish I could ripped off that devil smirk of his. 

"Goodnight Alex and see you around". As I was about to call the door he replied,

"See you in the library Emily and sweet dreams".

He was waiting till I close the door and when I did I but my back on it and just roll down. What a night. Yesterday I was freaking out ready to not show up and now thinking that I may spend the best day of my life. After I took a hot shower to calm myself down, I wore my pajamas and lay in my bed thinking about him. I actually look forward to go to the library more now. See you tomorrow Alexander!
