3rd POV

As a new student at Nekoma High, you felt your stomach twist and turn thinking about going to school tomorrow. It was overwhelming to say the least. You moved houses frequently during your childhood but never out of your school district. Since your mom was a single mother, she had a shitty job that constantly had her relocating and going places. She never had much time to be with you or your younger brother, Kito. It was sort of like you only had each other. You always had him since you attended the same school. Up until high school. However it didn't bother you too badly, you didn't have many friends anyways. You sat at your desk, rolling your pen across it. You glance over to your uniform lazily draped across your bed.

Despite feeling no exact feelings of excitement or fear, your body tensed up at the thought of attending that school. You had a really bad feeling.

"Y/N! It's almost 11 o'clock! Turn that light off and go to bed! You have school tomorrow." Your mother shouted from down the hall, noticing your room light still on.

"Sorry mom! I'll head to bed now." You shouted back, shutting the light off and laying down on your bed.

You tossed and turned restlessly as your body shook relentlessly.

"Why am I worrying so much? I've never worried like this.." you turned to face the wall

"Hey..." A soft voice called out to you as the door creaked open.

Turning over, you notice Kito standing in the doorway.

"I hope you have a great day tomorrow y/n.." He whispered

"Oh right, Thanks. But you should be asleep Kito." You responded

"I could say the same to you." He snickered, shutting the door. Leaving you in the dark with your worries.

Time skip to the morning, Your POV

Mom was already gone by the time I woke up. I expected nothing less from her.

"Kito! If you're not up, no breakfast. We have to walk today!" I called to him from the kitchen.

"Moms not taking us?" He whined.

"Moms at work already! And I'm not missing my train so you can eat breakfast!" I scolded, looking over at the clock sitting above the tv.

fuck, I'm running out of time

"KITO IM GONNA LEAVE YOU!" I shouted.

"THEN LEAVE! PEACE OUT! AYE-" He laughed.

In response to his foolishness, I slammed the front door.

"YOU REALLY WOULD JUST LEAVE ME LIKE THAT Y/N?" He shouted, chasing me with wide eyes.

"And I'll do it again" I smirked.

"You know I was already dressed right? I was just messing around jeez!"

"Oh really? Fix your tie and zip up your pants."

"Oh shit!"

"And did you lock the door?"

"Double oh shit"

He ran back to the house, still adjusting his clothes.

"AND STOP CUSSING"

Time skip to Kito's train :)

"BYE Y/N!" He called out to you while being engulfed in the sea of people getting on the train.

"Pay attention in class!" I called back.
