Gordon wakes up, a feeling of uneasiness falling over him. He looks around his room, considering getting up and looking around his house. Tiredness won the battle with curiosity and Gordon lied back down getting ready to sleep again. He closed his eyes and fell into the deafening silence, sleep washing over him. Before he could drown in the sea of rest something loud crashed somewhere outside. His eyes shot open and his heart started beating rapidly, he was scared. He wanted to play it safe even though he was still curious as hell, he stayed in his room and waited to see if anything else would happen. Something else did happen, something he really didn't expect. His eyes widened as a long stretched hand broke his window, feeling around the room. He opened the door and ran out, heart racing fast. 'This isn't real, this is a dream' repeated In his mind, the words repeated, loudly screaming making it hard for him to focus. His breath hitched when he saw the front door, another hand was there. Skinny and rotting. What Gordon thought was ink started oozing down the palm of the hand, burning into Gordon's floor. It left a foul odor and Gordon realized how real this was. He was breathing rapidly, tears threatening to fall from his eyes as he fell to his knees. He'd finally given up, realizing this fight wasn't one hed be able to win, at least, not by himself. But he was always by himself, always alone. He'd made a few friends in a VR game he'd played but they weren't real. Just glitched code. He had his family, a few friends, but he didn't think they really cared. Nobody really does in the end. Memoried flashed in his head as a few tears spilled from his eyes. They trailed down his face leaving an itchy feeling.  He felt the hand grab him, squeezing him as the ink burned into his skin. He screamed in pain but eventually gave in, the pain being nothing more than an afterthought now. It was weird though, it didn't hurt as much as he thought it would have. The more he thought about it the more he realized how little it hurt and pretty soon it didn't hurt at all. There was nothing in his house, nothing touching him. No burning black ink or giant thin hands, nothing. He looked around, surprised. He didn't know what had just happened. Did he sleepwalk? Was it the tiredness? He was confused, but not afraid. He had a plan and hed go through with it as soon as it was day. Whatever had just happened gave him some time to think, it had given him a good plan, and he had his heart set on it. He walked back to his room and lied down on his bed, sleep washing over him once more. As he drifted off to sleep he could have sworn he'd heard something but this time it was ignored as darkness finally cradled him to unconsciousness. He woke up and immediately ran to his computer, almost falling off the bed in the process. He had somethings to do and they needed to be done fast. He waited anxiously as it turned on, hoping it could just be done already. He opened up the VR game, thinking of whether or not to go through with his plan. The doubt lasted for no longer than a few seconds though, this wasn't about what he wanted, it was something he NEEDED. He sniffled as he entered the game, he was about to make a run to the test but something happened. Something weird, but it was exactly what he'd wanted. He was brought back to a place around the end of the game, so were the others. Or, he thought, Benrey was missing. He sighed in relief and decided to talk to his friends. He opened his mouth to speak but stopped, something was off. Wrong, this could be bad. He couldn't see the faces, they were gone, he was gone, everything was gone. He felt empty, he wanted to leave but soon realized he was stuck there. No, nononono, this was NOT part of the plan. This can't be happening, no, he refused to believe it. It wasn't real, he was just hallucinating again. It was just because he was tired, it was just a dream, he didn't know but it just wasn't real.  He looked around, everything was there. Everything was normal, nothing weird. He sighed and decided to talk to Tommy, he was eager to reconnect with his friends after all this time. He made his way over to Tommy, not being able to wait any longer. "Hey! Tommy! I have something to tell you guys, how have you been?" He asked sounding very happy. Tommy looked at him opening his mouth to speak, Gordon's heart dropped as he saw Tommy.
