~RECAPE~
I decided I needed to relieve myself from this world, so I rode to my usual spot which is the skate park. I practiced a few tricks here and there and ride back and forth repeatedly. I got a bit tired so I sat down at the first bench I made contact with. I took out my phone, scrolling through social media. I honestly didn't care about being 'social', I guess I didn't want to be the only one that wasn't up with the latest things happening. A swift movement of a body sat next to me. I looked over to see...

I looked over to see a teen about my age. His pair of bright blue eyes complimented his white teeth that was curved into a smile. He was familiar.

"Aubrey!" He said, pulling me into a hug.

"Uh..." I pulled away, scooting closer to the edg.

"Come on Aubrey, please tell me you don't remember me." He said. I stared at his bright blue eyes that started back at mine. I remembered! How could I forget Nash! He's always on tour, but he's here now.

"Nash!" I said, pulling him into a warm embrace. I crawled into his lap, still hugging him when his soft, plump lips pecked check. That was strange... but I took it as a friendly, flirty gesture. I pretty sure it had no meaning. I looked at his eyes then blushed looking down.

"Aw, someone's blushing." He said, pinching my check like I was a little kid. My arms were tugged by him. I winced a bit remembering my scars, from my parents and myself.

"What's this?!" He said, with an angry tone.

"N-nothing." I said, trying to pull away, but he stopped me.

"Come on Aubrey, did you do this." He said.

"Me and uh my p-parents." I said, having a bit of a disgusted tone of saying the word 'parents'.

"Please don't any more, for me, for... Us." He said. I nodded. " How about some ice cream?" He asked.

"My parents-"

"Come on, it won't be that long." He said. I couldn't say no. I grabbed everything that was mine while he started to do the same. We found our balance and then started to skate away. Side by side. Hand in hand.
