Hi I'm EmmaRose, I moved here from Miami Florida, to this town of Harrington Delaware. In going to attend Roosevelt middle school. I got up and put on my long sleeve black shirt and put a black shirt on over it that says "alone in the dark." I brushed my hair and put my beanie on. Boots on with blue skinny jeans. And off I was.
When I got to Mrs. Lynn's math class she smiled at me and greeted me friendly. She introduced me to the class and sat me next to this quiet boy. When I sat down he took in my outfit, which everyone did in my last school, after he turned away I was handed my assignment. Suddenly he tapped me on the shoulder.
"Hello I'm Evan, ur the new girl EmmaRose" he said shyly
"Hello and yes but people call me Emma" I said softly
" shy girl? Or just quiet"
" both I guess"
We both went back to doing our work in silent, when the bell rang. In the hall Evan came up to me.
" where u going"
"Umm Mrs. Holland"
" oh same as me." When we got to Mrs. Hollands Evan introduced me to her, she's a sweet lady about 5" 4, she assigned me next to Evan. A girl with long redish hair sat in front me to talk to me, she was funny, her name is Bella. I figured this would be ok.
As we were sitting our books down my sleeve came up, Evan looked down and then at me. He asked me about the scars on my arm. I told him they were my savors to the pain I felt. He gave me a sad look and asked me to tell him bout myself. I told him I was going through rough times and that it was my only escape. I told him I liked darkness that it comforts me. I put my head down and he picked it up looked In my eyes , smiled and said " stars can't shine without darkness"
