chapter 1

Courtney pov:

6:00am. My alarm started blaring. Ugh why now!! Oh wait... Yes! The first day of sophomore year. I hit my alarm and arose from my comfy bed. I wish I could have five more minutes sleep. No I can't! I have to look perfect. I went to my ensuite to brush my teeth and take a shower. As the shower water ran down my back I thought about how much people have probably changed. I wonder how everyone is. I quickly wrapped in my towel and dried my hair. Wow, last year went so fast! I stepped into my large walk in wardrobe and pulled out my favourite outfits from my clothing rack. It was a white tank top with some small rosebuds on it and some small blue denim shorts. My shoes were some black converse. I ran downstairs to my kitchen and got my smoothie out of the fridge. Whilst I was drinking my raspberry smoothie, I noticed my father had rang. I quickly rung him back.
" Hey princess."
"Hi dad, how is work?"
"It's going well. I miss you so much!"
" I miss you more!!"
"How's mum? Is she doing okay?"
"Yeah she's good. She's gone out to work early...again."
"Okay. Ive got to go now poppet but I'll talk to you soon. Bye sweetie."
"Bye dad, I love you."
"I love you more ."
I put the phone down and went to pack my bag. My dad is a very famous business man, he runs a toy company so he has to travel alot. My mom is a nurse and she leaves for work at 4:00am almost everyday. She finishes really late too so I don't get to see her much either. I'm sure nurses font work that often though? Anyhow I put all my stuff in my bag and headed for the door.

Bridgette pov:

"Hey court!" I called.
Wow she looked awesome.
"Hey bridge! Wow you look great."
"No you do!"
Geoff said hi to courtney and drove us to school.
"How was summer?"
"It was great actually! How was your guys?" She replied.
"Mine was good, I hung with Geoff at the beach and worked at 'coral reef bar' for the summer, I needed the money to pay for surfing sessions." I responded.
" Yeah mine was cool especially hanging with Bridgey-bear!" Geoff called from the front seat.
I gushed, Courtney gagged then we both had a laugh attack. Gosh I've missed hanging out with her.
"So court...what did you do all summer?"
"I-uh... I did my cit training!" She spluttered.
"Yeah sure!" I giggled.

Courtney pov:

I did not do cit training all summer. I spent time with... Duncan. But now I think of it, ew. Duncan  is a stupid delinquent with a fluffy green mohawk and awful table manners. What was I thinking??
Geoff made a u turn and parked in the school carpark.
"C'mon guys I want to say hi to Gwen!" I called.
I started half walking half running into school. Eee it's been ages since ive seen her.
"Gwen!" I yelled.
"Omg Courtney hi!" She replied.
I pulled her into a massive hug.
"How have you kept?" She asked.
"Oh you know the usual; cit training."
