New school year
No one's pov.
It's a new school year for everyone. Students say goodbye to their parents before getting on to the bus. When they arrive at school, they take off their shoes and jackets before heading straight to the auditorium.
Luna's pov.
Everyone is heading straight to the auditorium. I look for Amelia, but she isn't there. Where is she? I get a message from her as I am about to go to an empty seat. It says that she is on her way.
When the principal is about to speak, she finally comes in and sits down on the empty seat beside me. "Sorry for being late. Did I miss anything?", she whispers. "It's okay. You didn't miss anything", I whisper back.
After the presentation, we go to our classroom.
A month later
No one's pov.
In the classroom:
They all have found their seats when the teacher comes in. She isn't alone. A boy is standing behind her in the doorway. A tall boy with blonde hair.
"Good morning class", the teacher says. "Good morning ms. Anderson", they all greet. "We have a new student joining us today. Why don't you come in and introduce yourself?" She looks at the boy. He comes in and start to introduce himself: "Hi everyone, I'm Felix, I am 16 years and I like to play basketball". Then the teacher shows him the empty seat. The seat is next to Luna.
Class begins. It's math in the morning. "Take out your book and flip to page 36. Since Felix doesn't have a book and I don't have any extra books right now, why don't you share your book with him, Luna?" The teacher asks Luna, "I guess I can do that", She answers in a low tone.
