One of my personal favorite parts, Character design! Even if you aren't good at art, I'd recommend drawing your oc. It will give you a general idea of what it looks like. If you need help with inspiration, There's always Deviant art, Pinterest, Google, and Tumblr. You should have it so the way that they look shows a bit of personality- for example red hair for a fiery personality.
