Ch 30

****long chapter but I really like this chapter.

The plane landed, Brad and Carrie woke up from the 2 hour nap. A black suburban with a driver pulled up next to the jet. Brad grabbed the luggage and put it inside the suv. They then got in and drove off to the hotel near the talk shows studios.
They requested one room for them. Brad walked into the room and jumped on the bed. Carrie laughed and got on top of him, she put her hands under his shirt and began to rub his abs.

Carrie: you what I'm thinking about??😉

Brad: (tiredly) you know I want too but I'm so tired.

Carrie: nooo you pervert!!😂😂😂 I meant if you want your massage right now.

Brad: oh my bad.😂😂😂

Carrie: no worries you that I would want to do that too but you the whole pregnancy thing... Um yea we shouldn't right, atleast until the baby is born.

She got off and took his shirt off, Brad then turned around and laid his face into the pillow. Carrie grabbed his lotion and sat on top of butt. She poured dots of lotion onto his back. She slowly began to rub his back, feeling his muscular body, he jumped a little because it was cold.
An hour past by so fast, Carrie noticed it and jumped off of him.

Carrie: hurry we have to get ready.

They quickly got dressed, Brad had finished earlier than Carrie. She always spent a quite of bit of time on her hair and makeup.
They walked into the elevator and then to the lobby where security was waiting for them. There were lots of paparazzi outside waiting for them. The security helped them into the suv.
They arrived at the studio to film the interview for USA Today. After they finished they then went back to the suv. They later arrived at the set of Late Night with Seth Myers, he's a very good friend of Brad. Carrie changed into a blue dress and Brad switched t-shirts and jackets. During the interview Seth asked Brad&Carrie about Kim's death and the divorce. "I think the best thing that has happen lately is that Carrie and I have been closer than ever through all of this. I'm very lucky to have a woman like this next to me, always being there whenever I need someone. Even my kids think of her as a mom," Brad said as he began to tear up.

Carrie: (with tears coming out of her eyes) Brad is a person that everybody loves and especially me. He's perfect in all ways, he's a family person, a great friend, the best country singer in my eyes. One thing that I love about him is that he puts his family and friends over anything, even his career. He even came with me to Oklahoma because my dad was rushed to the hospital. My family loves him so much, my dad said that if he had ever had a son he would want it to be just like Brad. He's been my best friend for a couple of years even before we hosted the CMAs. He was my first tour and the first person to ask me to collaborate in a song. I can never thank him for what he has done for me, I would literally run out of my voice if I do. He's a one of a kind of person, I am really lucky that I have him in my life.

Brad: I've said it before, Carrie is the best singer right now in all genres and if she continues she'll become the best of all time.

Seth: there's been lots of rumors lately of you guys cheating with each other while be married with different people. I know its a private thing, but I have to ask this question. Are you guys more than just friends??

Carrie: (looking at Brad) you know it's time for us to come out talk about it, we've ignored it way too much. I've been been close to Brad through out all these years, as close as I was with Mike. I would always go to Brad for advise, if I wasn't busy or with Mike, usually I was with him. Me and Mike became farther apart through out the last two years.He pressured me into becoming pregnant. I honestly didn't think it was time to become pregnant just because of where my career is at. When I told Mike I was pregnant he suddenly didn't want it. He said he was in his prime and a baby would distract him.

Brad: people don't know this but me and Kim got into a big fight over something small last year. We were never the same after, she was usually filming and I was with the kids. So I had planned to divorce her around this time. I thought it was the best thing for the kids and I. When Kim died I was very sad. Carrie was there through everything and we became more than friends.

Carrie: Mike filed for divorce even though I was going to do it anyways. I did get close to Brad for comfort and our relationship grew. I don't regret it because I love him so much.

Brad: We have never cheated on our spouses. We didn't get together until our separate marriages were solved. I also don't regret anything. Even when we were just friends I never had an argument with Carrie.

Carrie: yea and thats true, when we were friends we never fought or argued. I truly loved being with him because at home it was fighting with Mike and with Brad it was completely different. I wish Mike the best but certainly don't want to see him ever again.

Brad: even though I know that child is not mine, I will raise it as if it was mine.

Seth: I didn't believe that you guys were cheating but I am truly happy that you guys are together. You guys are so perfect, we see it while you guys host, both have such great chemistry, you each bring out each other's best when you ate together and that's coming from a friend. Brad I've never seen you any happier when Carrie is with you. I respect you both of how you treated this situation. Lets change subjects, which of all jokes you guys have said through out the years is the most funniest one?.....

The interview lasted about 20 minutes. In the back, Seth thanked them for the interview. Seth told them that whenever they are in NY to come and visit his wife and him. Brad&Carrie said yea and then said bye. They got on suv holding hands for the first time in the public. They arrived in their room, undressed into pajamas and cuddled with each other under the blankets.

Brad: you think it was the right time to say it

Carrie: yea I do, we've hidden it for a long time and I hate hiding our thing while in public.

Carrie: yea I get what you mean. I am happy though that we can finally do things in public that we couldn't do before. Ready for all the questions tomorrow about our thing and all of Twitter and news channels talking about us.

Brad: I can care less of what people say. As long as I have you I'm happy.

They kissed and went to sleep...
