Act #1 - Meeting Class 3-E

Takara Bricriu was nervous. It was the first time in 6 years that he had attended school, and even though he was not one to get nervous, standing in front of the classroom door waiting for his octopus teacher to call him in made him fidget anxiously.

I want to go home.

Bricriu leaned his head against the door with a sigh. Inside, he heard the sound of BB guns going off.

They must have planned a group attack on him.

The noise was giving Bricriu a headache.

It's not going to work.

Silence, then the octopus started talking. Bricriu didn't bother to listen, he could guess what the teacher was going to say, anyway.

"...and that reminds me!" The octopus clapped his tentacles together with a squish, "We have a new student joining us!"

Bricriu took that as his cue and strode through the door. At his appearance, his new classmates immediately burst into chatter.

"The new student is a boy!"

"Ah, what a shame."

"Are you sure about that, Okajima? He looks like he could pass for a girl."

Bricriu sighed. The first thing people saw in him was either how short he was or the fact that he could say he was female and get away with it. Honestly.

"My name is Takara Bricriu, please take care of me," He bowed, his fluffy peach coloured hair falling down to cover the annoyed frown on his face.

The expression disappeared as he lifted his body back up and was quickly replaced with a half-smile.

A yellow tentacle gently pushed him forward, guiding him to his chair as the teacher spoke.

"You can sit over here."

It was not Bricriu's first time seeing the alien, in fact, due to special circumstances, Bricriu had well acquainted himself with him. However, that did not stop Bricriu from staring at the tentacles.

They look so squishy.

(He wanted to know what the tentacles tasted like).

Bricriu blinked and the teacher was no longer next to him, but instead standing at the front of the class.

"Now then, let us start on our work."

It would be a lie to say that Bricriu did not sleep through the entirety of class, undisturbed until it was time for lunch. He was woken by a blue haired boy - who introduced himself as Shiota Nagisa - and was greeted by a burst of sound and air. His peach hair left sticking up and red-gold eyes left watering by the blast of wind, Bricriu glowered.

"Nagisa." He forced a shaky smile onto his face as he processed the words he heard in the background of his waking.

"Yes, Takara-san?" Nagisa replied.

"Can I have that monster's number?" The other boy began to move for his phone, "Oh, and just call me Bricriu."

After Nagisa had given Bricriu the octopus' number, he immediately began to curse the teacher for ruining his hair - that had now fallen down into a messy mop of peach - and demanded that as compensation, the octopus should buy him some lunch.

Of course, the octopus refused at first, but a few threats later Bricriu had secured himself a full course meal of 'mapo tofu'. Then, a few minutes later, the octopus landed in front of him with another blast of air and sulkily deposited the food on Bricriu's desk.

"You better fix my hair." Bricriu muttered, digging hungrily into the food as his teacher fixed his hair.

A few bites later, after the octopus had departed of course, Bricriu set the chopsticks down, his hunger satisfied by the small amount of food he had in took. He glanced around the classroom. Since it was lunch time, the room was empty, the other students having spread out on the mountain to play.

Abruptly, Bricriu shot to his feet, fast-walking from the classroom and into the bathrooms. With a brief glance about the room, he dashed to the sink.

(He wouldn't let anyone see).

A vile taste burnt his mouth as warm liquid rushed up his throat and Bricriu hurled into the sink, throwing up what little food he had eaten.

(He wouldn't let anyone see how weak he was).

(Not yet).
