"All three of you have the gene now!" Webby said, beaming at Huey. Huey rubbed his neck nervously avoiding her eyes. She saw this and her eyes narrowed. "Huey." She growled. "What aren't you telling me?" She asked.

She helped Louie to sit in a chair. Donald stood staring at the kids. He hadn't seen Webby since Mrs. Beakly died. She had grown into a lovely young duck though and had traded her usual skirt and blouse for a more slimming and appealing pink jump suit. Much like you'd see an assassin would wear.

Donald only hoped that Webby hadn't chosen that to be her profession now that she was of age.

"Dewey, sort of..." Huey's voice trailed off and hesitated.

Webby's eyes widen at the unspoken rest of the sentence.

"I'm gonna kill him!" Webby snarled. She put her hands together then slowly spread them and Donald watched in awe when the pink swirls started to appear between them.

"Webby! You've already over did it today!" Huey told her urgently. "Dewey will be -."

But before Huey could finish the portal expanded and Webby had jumped through. Huey and Donald watched as it closed abruptly.

Huey sighed deeply.

"Come on, Lou. Let's get you checked out." Huey said, and draped Louie over his shoulder.

"Mind telling me what the Hell is going on?" Donald Duck asked his oldest nephew as  he followed him to a section of the vault where with the stretcher that was prompt up to be used as a medical table.

Huey laid Louie on top of it, making Louie groan.

"Just a sec, Uncle Donald," Huey said, and disappeared through a tiny curtain. He brought out Lena who Donald surprised to see.

"Thought you died when Magica took over." Donald told her as Lena walked over to Louie and placed a warm hand on his cheek. Louie had his eyes closed again but leaned into it without hesitation.

"That's what I wanted everyone to think." Lena told him. "His fever is spiking Huey, do we have any medicine left?" She asked.

Huey shooked his head.

"What is it? What's wrong with Louie?" Donald demanded.

"His body cells is reacting to his mutant gene in a way that is making him extremely ill." Lena explained. "If we don't get him something to cope with it, he could disband into tiny particles and..."

Her voice trailed off and Donald's heart sank.

"Why is this happening?" Donald whispered, as he sank into the chair that Louie had been in moments ago. He buried his face in his hands. "First I find out my nephews are mutants, then, find out that they've been secretly smuggling mutants -."

"Not smuggling. Saving." Lena snapped at him.

Donald shooked his head and continued like he hadn't heard her.

"Now, I find out that Louie might not make it because his system might not be able to handle the stupid mutant gene?" He finished.

"Uncle Donald." Huey barked, making Donald's head snap up to look at him. He wasn't use to Huey speaking that way to him. Sixteen or not. He was still a child to Huey and his eyes narrowed at him in warning to prove that he still knew that.

"We are mutants, so deal with it!" Huey snapped."Sorry we never told you, but we -." Lena looked over at him sharply. " I mean, we, were afraid not just for ourselves but for you. If Magica knew about us, she'd do something far worse then what she's already doing to the mutants she's already captured. Not to mention anyone else related to us! In case you haven't noticed she's still got a score to settle with our entire family!"
