I was busy reading my notes here in our campus when someone shouted my name.
"Rakiel!" She shouted .
I shifted my gaze from my book to the person who called me. I saw my best friend Tamara.
"Hey kiel!" I snapped and blinked my eyes I didn't even notice that I'm staring intently to her face.
"Saan ka galing?" I asked her. "I've been calling but your not answering my calls Tam".
"I'm sorry hinatid ko lang si Allia sa school" she said and remove my bag on the bench and she sitted beside me.
"Kumain ka na ba?" I asked her.
"Hmmm yeah" she answered me but I know her better than anyone by just looking at her I know she didn't eat.
"Tara" and I get my things and put it on my bag.
"Huh? San tayo pupunta?" I saw confusion on her eyes.
Pinitik ko ang noo niya "What are you thinking? Will just go to the canteen".
"Huh? Di ka pa kumakaain? It was past twelve na ahh nagpapalipas kananaman RAKIEL EZEKIEL!" She stomped her feet and glare me binatukan ko nga.
"It's you who didn't eat Tamara MARIE" napangiwi siya sa pagtawag ko sa kaniya. I emphasized the marie coz she hated it.
"I told you to stop calling me with that name RAKIEL EZEKIEL" she's fuming mad I can see it but I just laughed and messed her hair.
"Whatever you say so tamtam" she just rolled her eyes and I just smile.
We've been best friend since the day I saw her crying in the middle of the crowd she's begging to stop and asking for someone's help but no one dare to help her. When I heard her sobs I hurriedly run to her and stop them. Since then I felt like she needed someone by her side, she needed someone who can understand her and protect her.
I waited outside her classroom and then I saw her walking while embracing her book.
"Kiel?"
"Hey" I smiled
"What are you doing here?" She took my hand at tinignan ang oras. "Kanina pa uwian niyo ahh bakit hindi ka pa umuuwi ahh Rakiel?" I saw her smirked but I just shrugged at her.
"Hatid na kita sainyo" I didn't asked I just stated it.
"Ano nanamang nakain mo ahh RAKIEL EZEKIEL? I saw her brows creased.
"Wala baliw" I smiled.
I just wanted to be with her since we're going to graduate. I just wanted to spend the two weeks with her before I go to the states.
"Bye kiel ingat ahh" she said before she went outside of my car.
Our graduation day came in just a glimpse I saw her standing while smiling while waiting to call her name.
"Congrats kiel Graduate na tayo!" She jumped and hug me tight I hug her back and smiled.
We ate in the restaurant with her family and with mine. It was the best day for me for us.
