A- please Bhavya , jao . I'll be there soon .

B- it's you who was so excited about the campfire , I told you to take medicines immediately but no ! You have to argue on everything. Now see , what you've done to yourself?

She sat on the bed beside her and caressed annika's warm skin .

A- I'm totally fine yaar , How will I miss the campfire dance? I'll follow you right away in a few minutes, tum jao .

B- nahi ani,

A- Bhavya !

After a few more minutes of convincing session Bhavya finally agreed and left the room to join the campfire night. Annika laid back on the bed . She was getting sick , she could feel that . All the tissues in the room are already inside the dustbin, thanks to her running nose. She literally felt worn out and tired but still , she doesn't want to miss the fun too .

After refreshing , she continuously rubbed the towel on her face when her mobile rang suddenly. Where it is ? Oh, she had plugged it for charge.

Pulling the wire she blinked and wore her specs before looking at the caller ID in keen .

Mumma 🎈

It flashed and within no seconds she swiped the green .

A- hello mumma !

A sudden  energy engulfed her .

' annika , how are you beta ?'

A- I'm fine as always mumma .

' when are you returning?'

A- this friday night , don't worry mumma I'll take a cab and reach there myslef. I'm not going to the hostel .

' that's what for I called you annika , actually mumma is leaving out of city for a few weeks so you can stay in your papa's house or go to hostel itself beta . Best . I'll let you know when I reach back, then you can come here '

Annika's face fell till extreme. She coughed a few times before replying.

A- acha? It's ok mumma , I'll go to the hostel.

' annika ? What happened to your voice? You're ok ?'

A- vo actually mumma , we went to the falls today and

' ok ok annika, I have some important work now . I'll call you later beta , take care haan . Muaahh ,mumma loves you !'

Without letting annika to complete, she interrupted in the middle.

A- annika loves you so much mumma !

Beep.

She crushed her eyes as the spring of tear drops landed down her cheecks randomly . Did her mumma even hear what she said ? She really loves her so much. Certainly, she was ready to share everything about today with her but she hardly did.

Well , it wasn't something new . Since past 10 years , it's like this .

Her parents started their life from a love marriage which gradually fell into a miserable decision called divorce. Well , miserable for whom ? Not to both of them as they were happy in that but what about the 13 year old kid with two braids? Annika. She was  the one who suffered much in their decision. The next 10 years of her life was nothing but filled by some plain roties of hostel.
