"Aaah, April fools day!" Piper stretched and blinked a few times. Her favorite time of the year, being able to use her charmspeak at will without getting in trouble. She hopped out of bed and got ready for a day of pranks.
A few minutes later she walked out of cabin 10 and bumped into Percy. "Hey Piper, you seen Annabeth?" Biting her tongue, she reminded herself to wait a little before the fun begins. "Naw, but I'm headed to the mess hall, wanna go with me and check there?" She managed, trying her best not to accidentally ask him out or whatever. "Sure, why not." Percy responded.
Their walk was uneventful, until Piper spotted Nico di Angelo hidden in the shadows near the Hades cabin. Hmmmmm... that gave her an idea. Nico had just recently come out to liking Percy, and she was pretty sure everyone was cool with it but one person.
