Hey guys! Sorry for being MIA lately. I have a lot of idea about where this story could go and Its hard to decide. DOnt hate me too much! So without further delay; here it is...
"Me oh my, will you two please get off each other and help me with these
decorations! They're not going to put themselves up! Let's go!" Natalie says
clapping while she walks out of the room.
Harry turns to face me but I have lost the ability to speak. I can feel tears stinging
the back of my eyes, trying to force their way to the front but I blink a few times
and try to compose myself.
"Babe, are you alright?" Harry says as he places his hand on my cheek as his eyes
flood with concern. This has to be real. He looks so real, and feels real. And I
couldn't be imagining the look in his eyes. It is too sincere. But if this is real, then
did I just imagine the last two years? Natalie's death, dropping out of college,
moving to London, failing at every job possible and being stuck with an abusive
landlord? I must have. Thinking back on the last two years, it's been extremely
crappy. That had to be the dream.
I can help but let my eyes flood with tears and grab onto Harry, pulling him to me
and hugging him tightly. He doesn't waste a minute, wrapping his arms around my
waist and hugging me back.
"Should I be concerned?" Harry asks. I chuckle and pull back to look into his eyes.
"No. No you shouldn't be concerned at all. I'm just happy is all." I say looking into
his eyes. The next thing I know, I'm crashing my lips to his and our lips move in
sync. Butterflies erupt in my stomach and I can't help but start to giggle in the
middle of our kiss. Harry pulls back with amusement on his face and begins to say
something, but before he can I grab his hand and pull him out of my bedroom.
As we walk out my eyes widen in shock. This house was huge. There was an arc
right above the hallway which led into the living room. The walls were stone and I
imagined it to be a cottage of some type. The gigantic window near the fireplace
had a full displace of the snow outside. There was a chandelier in the middle of the
living room and expensive looking furniture placed in a circle around a giant flat
screen TV placed on the wall.
"Um, what month is it?" I ask as I turn around to face Harry. He looks at me quizzically before responding.
"...December?" He replies.
"Date?"
"It's December the 20th"
It could not be December. It was just August! And it's almost Christmas.
"I know you told me not to be concerned, but I can't help it love. I think I am
concerned. Did you hit your head when I woke you up?" What? When did Harry
wake me up? He had crawled through my window and was soaking wet, but then
the rain disappeared...
"But why-"
"COME ON GUYS! GET OFF EACH OTHER AND HELP ME PUT UP THESE DAMN
DECORATIONS!" Natalie shouted as he walked into the living room.
Harry chuckles and let's go of my hand as he makes his way over to her.
"Oh come on Nat. Don't be jealous" Harry teases as he playfully punches her arm.
She waves her hand as dismissal and shoves a box of decorations into his arms.
As Harry walks over to the tree and begins to put on the lights Natalie waves me over.
This has to be a dream. She looks so real. So.. Alive.
I take weary steps toward her and as I do, she looks even more real.
Um... yea?" I say. Her eyebrow rises and she motions for me to come closer. Once I do she begins to whisper.
"I need to talk to you Sky..."
"About what?" She turns her head to look at Harry who is still busy wrapping the
lights around the Christmas tree.
"Look" is all she says as she reaches behind her and holds in front of me a small velvet box.
"Look what I found" are the words that make my breath catch.
