Late at night many things tend to happen. Shady deals, killings, sneak outs, the domain of the night surely is an unforgiving place, if you could even call it as such. Fit perfectly for a world of mystery and fantasy.

On this small planet we called Earth there are many secrets kept from it's inhabitants, the very creatures some call nonexistent being the cause. The nightmares which belong only in the acursed land of the underworld, and the holy crusaders of the silver city have been at war for longer than either side could recall.

Many souls lost, all for naught.

Many miracles created, only to be put out.

The age of Man dawned a long time ago, but this conflict was hidden away from their 'innocent' lives. Hehe... I guess I am rambling like an old man once more. I'll get to it.

It was a normal night for the quiet city of Kuoh, a cold breeze blowing past the streets ushering in its welcome comfort for any late night runners or such. At this time however one of it's secrets was on the prowl, or better said, had catched the prey it so desperately desired to stomp out of its territory. Right on the outskirts of the urban city, just at the entrace of a forest, stood an old church. It's tall frame along with the crumbling walls suggested that it was perhaps one of the first buildings the people made when Kuoh was created, beautiful white exterior walls along with a dark wood roof complemented it's surrounding flora perfectly.

Inside the House of The Lord was a group of teenagers, all different heights and builds, staring sharply at the entrance. The atmosphere as cold as the air outside, a very depressing and emotional time taking place at the moment. This group was staring daggers at a figure, a clear desire of blood felt in each of them, which had a pair of midnight black wings.

That figure, was once one of the holy crusaders, an angel, but fell from grace once it chased it's humanly desires, called as a Fallen Angel commonly. She was a young woman, with a striking and resounding beauty which could allure any man to her, mischievous she was but that dark long hair which reached to her slim waist and pair of purple orbs would turn an army around at her command.

Her attitude however, was totally erratic and fearful as she darted her eyes from person to person.

"Fallen Angel Raynare." A tone so sweet and seductive bounced against the walls grabbing the attention of the now named deserted protector. It's origin being a tall girl, tho referring to her as a woman would not be wrong, with long flowing crimson locks and sky blue eyes, her body possessing the curves of which many dreamed off. She is Rias Gremory, a devil, and the leader of the teenager group, being part of one of the 72 pillars of the underworld, an arrogant and scheming woman that got all she wanted somehow, tasked with protecting Kuoh which was her territory. "You have done as you seen fit in my land. I have every right to dispose of you. Any last words you wish to speak... perhaps apologize to my cute pawn."

Raynare gulped unconsciously as she listened, her plan to achieve great power by stealing Twilight Healing, one of the special artifacts of power which human's possess known 'Sacred Gears' which all were created by God, failed miserably. Her allies mere feathers at her feet, herself on the ground being told to apologize for playing around with a useless perverts feelings, how comical.

This wretched individual they were referring to was Issei Hyoudo. A brown haired teen, with no outstanding trait which was somehow lucky enough to receive a sacred gear at birth. He was currently holding onto the frail body of a girl like he would cease to exist may he ever let go, Asia Argento's body was going cold by the second in his embrace only prompting more tears to be created. The extraction of a sacred gear would kill the user, with the dead girl being in said state his hate for Raynare only amplified. Issei's brown eyes opened wver so slightly to glare at the Fallen, he was overcome by this wave of emotion so strongly that he put Asia down and sat up to show some strength.
