3rd person POV
"Let's get this Dust out of here, we don't want the auditor to find it," said a White Fang soldier.
The warehouse was full of Dust shipments the White Fang had stolen. There was only a handful of soldiers guarding it, no one knew the White Fang was here, so why guard it with a massive force? As the captain of this group patrolled the interior, he watched a shadow sprint between the crates, a suppressed gunshot following suit. The captain raised his gun, more movement and another gunshot turning his attention behind him. Another shadow, and another shot. The captain was practically spinning in circles as the shadow would disappear and reappear in mere moments, a gunshot for each movement. As sudden as it had started, the shadow had stopped appearing. The captain backed against a crate, scared and practically shitting himself. He had heard ten suppressed gunshots, and he had ten other Faunus under his command.
"Platoon! Report!" Shouted the Captain.
No answer came.
"Platoon!" Shouted the captain again.
"They won't answer," said a voice from above.
...'s POV
I dropped down from a Dust crate behind the captain. The Faunus freaked out and shakily turned his gun on me. This was too easy. I easily disarmed the man, before throwing him against a crate, aiming my integrally suppressed pistol at his face.
"Who the hell are you?!" Demanded the captain.
"Don't worry about it," I said.
I put a small breathing mask on my face, and produced a canister from my belt. As the pin fell to the floor, I sent the grenade into the corner, a green cloud emitting from it.
"That gas is a combination of wind dust, fire dust, and Lancer venom. Nasty way to die, and with how I threw that grenade you have about 45 seconds to tell me what I want to know before it contaminates this whole room," I threatened. "What's the White Fang doing with all this dust?"
I held a gas mask out just far enough that he couldn't grab it.
"I swear I don't know!" exclaimed the captain.
"Tick tock, about 35 seconds left to tell me what the truth is," I said.
I could see the panic in his eyes, he was trembling and constantly staring at the cloud behind us.
"Ok fine! I don't know exactly where, but the White Fang is planning to hit somewhere, somewhere big!" Exclaimed the man.
Gotcha. I tossed the mask to the man, who put it on in a hurry.
"Now, where is Adam Taurus?" I questioned.
"I don't know! Only a select few know where he is at any time," answered the man.
It was easy to tell he wasn't lying. I turned to walk away, and even though I couldn't see him I knew he was reaching for a pistol at his hip. A suppressed gunshot rings through the room, and the Captain's body falls to the ground. I turned around as another agent walks up to his body, putting another round in his temple.
"Really, the food coloring smoke grenade again?" Asked the Agent.
"Hey, if it works, why stop?" I boasted.
The other agent chuckled, extending his hand to me.
"Didn't expect to see you on a small fry op like this one 'Gypsy'," said the agent.
I took his hand as I put my pistol back in my belt.
"Ironwood wanted me to demonstrate my capabilities for him, see if I was up for a really important op," I explained.
The other Agent and I walked out of the warehouse, where an Atlas vehicle convoy had arrived to collect the stolen dust. I walked up to the officer in charge and flashed my wrist ID at him, showing him my clearance level.
"Agent Gypsy, Ironwood is expecting your presence immediately," said the officer.
A luxurious car pulled up and the officer opened the door for me. I sat myself in the car, where General Ironwood and Winter Schnee were already waiting for me. The car pulled away as I closed the door.
"I was not aware we would be meeting on the move. I feel so under dressed," I joked.
My mission uniform was a stark contrast to Ironwood and Winter's prim and proper dress uniforms. I was simply in a leather jacket that could adapt its colors to blend with my surroundings as well as pants that could do the same. When no camouflage was needed however, they were simply white, blue and black.
"Sorry to make you feel uncomfortable Gypsy, but this matter needed discussed immediately," said Ironwood.
"General, I'm unfamiliar with this Agent. Permission to discuss his file?" Asked Winter.
Ironwood handed her a file, and she opened it.
"Osiris Paxton, age... 17?!" Exclaimed Winter.
"Our youngest and most skilled Agent," said Ironwood.
"The rest of the file is redacted, even his tactics," said Winter.
I grabbed the file from her, smirking a little.
"That's because most of my missions never happen," I said.
"And this mission will likely be one to join that club. We are sending you after someone who can get us closer to finding Adam Taurus," said Ironwood.
This really caught my attention.
"Well then, I guess we found one of the select few. Show me the target," I requested.
Ironwood handed me another file, with a picture of a Faunus girl within. She had jet black hair and seemed to hide her cat ears with a bow on her head.
"Her name is Blake Belladonna," said Ironwood.
She was very beautiful, with her yellow eyes standing out from all the black she was wearing.
"Where do I find her?" I asked.
"That's the different part of this mission you may not be used to. Due to her specific involvement when she was in the White Fang, we can't be sure if she's being watched by any current members. This mission will be a long term infiltration," explained Ironwood.
"I figured that, my next question is if this is a kill/capture mission on Belladonna?" I asked.
"No, you will have to get close to Belladonna. Gain her trust and find out if she has any information on Taurus," said Ironwood.
This was the best news I've heard all day. I was finally gonna have my shot at Adam Taurus, the White Fang's most notorious terrorist.
"So where can I find Miss Belladonna?" I asked.
Ironwood handed me a small tablet, my mission briefing.
"She is attending Beacon Academy, and now so are you," said Ironwood.
This is who I am. My mission is my top priority, and I always complete my mission.
"Well then, I guess class is in session. Let's get to work," I said with a smirk.
