Celestial Love

Basked in pale moonlight, we lie.
Staring at stars, the world moving by.
When I hold your hand do you see?

I see the galaxy in your eyes, the twinkle of lights that dance in the shadows.

Pull me closer, I feel your gravity.
Why is it only you who can make me see?
This place is not plain darkness, and I not alone.
Your warm soul brings me home.

With your hands on my waist, I breath in crisp air.
Our distance is aeons and unfair.
If there should be a planetarium, peers gaze afar.

We are one in our galaxy, they see.
A constant push and pull of our heart's gravity.
We continue our orbit in synchronised harmony.
You've come from the heavens, my white dove.
Now I shall cherish you, this celestial love.
