hey y'all im back! ive been really busy since i switched from online school to on campus. i thought it'd be cool to let you guys know what it feels like!

1. Lockers
Okay. Where do I even begin with this one? They are literally covered in dust and cobwebs. I wiped mine with a wet wipe and the whole thing turned black. Did I mention that it took 5 wet wipes to get half of it cleaned?

2. People
There are actually more people than I thought! The grade I'm in rn has about 36 people and 4/5 of them are doing on-campus learning. So uh, it feels pretty weird with people here even when the cases are going up. Keep in mind that I live in California so there are way more cases than anywhere else!

3. Sanitary rules
We have to sign a google form everyday to check in with our health to see if we show any symptoms of the coronavirus and parents can't go inside the school. So they drop us off and then we get our temperature checked while our parents show that we submitted the form. When we are at the front door of the school there is a hand sanitizer machine dispenser so we use it and go in. We have to wear a mask all day long except for eating (well yeah lol) and during PE (physical education or gym if you call it something different) but if we decide to take our masks off we need to stay 12 feet away from each other! In each classroom we have a swivl for the remote learners so I find that pretty cool! After the period/class ends we wipe our desks and chairs with alcohol and paper towels so it lowers the chance of getting the virus!

4. Zoom
I was also doing online for a few weeks and it's kinda weird. Our schedule is pretty packed and we have about 20 minutes of break and 40 minutes of lunch (an improvement!). And no, the zooms are not 15 minutes. We need to stay there full-time. We get off 5 minutes earlier than on-campus learners so they can clean their desks and chairs so that's that. It's also really annoying because we have to wear our uniforms when doing zoom classes, like I personally don't see the point of doing that but we can't change it soooooo yeah! Like a lot of you, we also submit our work using canvas even for on campus students!
For now, that's all that's going on so that's that!

4. Lunch
Okay this is a weird topic and there really isn't a lot to say about this but I felt like talking about it so here! Lunch is the same. Bring our own or buy the school lunch. The ones they serve are the same but in a plastic box with drinks and everything. We have a rule of only 2 people sitting at 1 table so we don't get the virus. How it works is there are several benches (we eat outside) and we each sit on 1 end. Surprisingly, there is actually enough space for people to eat lunch so that's kinda shocking!

I just thought this would be fun as a make-up for not finishing the chapter sooo yeah, have a nice day everyone!
