I felt my throat burning as I started to wake. Wait. I was alive? How was this possible? My eyes shot open and I took a deep breath. My eyes shot to the person standing above me; Shkelgim. I growled my eyes turning blood red, I should have known. Curse him, he couldn't leave me alone could he?
Anger took hold of me. Even though I was still weak, I got up and pinned him to the nearest sturdy post.
"Why" I hissed menacingly, "did you bring me back".
He looked at me in fear and said
"I couldn't leave my Master to burn".
I got even closer to him "I thought I told you to stay away from me" I hissed.
I suddenly doubled over in pain throwing Shkelgim to the side as my stomach cramped up and my throat felt like sandpaper. Shkelgim came over to me "Master, you need to drink" he pleaded. He bought his knife to his wrist as cut deeply and bought his wrist down to me. Without thinking I grabbed it sucking intently at the wound; he hissed in pain as I bit down. Finally, growling deeply, I yanked my head back and got to my feet.
Breathing deeply I scowled at Shkelgim thinking about what to do. I wanted to kill him; he took away my chance to me with Mirena but he could be at use and after the pain after time I didn't want to fry myself in the sun again. I could watch over my son, protecting him. Yes, Shkelgim could be very useful.
"You are lucky I do not end you here" I said menacingly.
Unsure of himself Shkelgim asked quietly "Master what do we do know?"
"You will now take me to your clan while I recover," I started, "then when I reach full health we will move on".
"Yes Master, as you wish Master" he said.
"Do not think you are forgiven," I growled at him.
I stalked of not wanting to stay here any longer, Shkelgim scrambling behind me.
I smirked darkly to myself. The next few days would be interesting.
Very interesting indeed.
