Weeks passed by although to Kara the days seemed to drag on.
Sitting in the common room, Kara threw her hand of cards down. "I'm bored! I have sat here and done the same thing over and over. I want some kind of excitement."
Jensen laughed, "Like what?"
"I don't know!"
Jeanna and Jensen grinned at each other, then Jeanna leaned in towards Kara, "Want to explore?"
Kara sighed, "I think I have explored every inch of this little prison ward."
Jeanna rolled her eyes, "No, explore the rest of the building."
"How?"
Jeanna's grin got wider, "We tell Deborah to open the door."
Kara stared at Jeanna, "Again, how?"
Jensen sighed, "Jeanna and I are remotes. We work together but we can make people do what we want."
"Wow. Wait, does it work on anyone?"
"Well not Carver, but he's cracked."
"Cracked? What do you mean cracked?"
Jeanna tapped her foot impatiently, "Yes or no?"
Kara jumped up, "Duh!"
The twins grinned then put their heads together. A few minutes later Deborah came over and lightly tapped Kara on the shoulder. "Doctor Carver needs you Kara."
Kara got up and walked to the door, looking back she saw Jensen giving her thumbs up.
Kara followed Deborah through the halls until they reached Doctor Carver's office, a small wooden door set into the cinder block walls of the building.
"Wait out here. Doctor Carver will call you when he is ready." Deborah then left Kara and headed back towards the unit.
Kara watched until Deborah turned the corner then she slunk down the hallway in the opposite direction. She was determined to explore until Deborah realized she had been manipulated by the twins. Walking down the hallway Kara began to believe she was lost.
"All I want is to find downstairs. I have to see these hopeless."
Finally she came to a door that led to the stairwell.
"Ah ha! Going down."
