The Graduation Gift

I never thought id be nearing the end of my senior year. Graduation is actually tomorrow. I've been dreaming of this day since the first week of school 4 years ago. Though I've had some unforgiving moments, it all equates to a bittersweet era that I'm not so sure I will miss. I've met some unforgettable people here, like the guys who would sexually harass me in the halls, the teachers that I've longed for, the friends that I've gotten high with, and the people who helped me develop my alcoholic problem. All in all, every girl's dream experience. The few things I will miss the most are those intimate moments I shared with Mr.Blake. I always liked that he was there for me through some difficult times and the bond that we shared. I was his right-hand student. I'll admit it was pretty difficult maintaining straight A's, being a teacher's aide, and being a good friend to the students whose work I grade every day and tests I create, being around a handsome man like Mr.Blake didn't hurt one bit. I always joked around about sleeping with him and how wet he made me but I never thought anything would come from it. It's weird though, these past few days leading up to graduation I've been having some interesting dreams about Mr.Blake and every time I see him I would just stop in place and the urge to act upon those dreams were taking over but I knew I couldn't. No matter how bad I wanted to. I just have to act professional, I don't want to scare him away, after all, I'm sure he doesn't see me In that way. I'm supposed to be meeting some friends in a few so we can go shoe shopping but first I have to drop off these grading stencils Mr.Blake gave me 2 years ago.

"Hey Mr.Blake, I was just dropping these off. I can't believe this is it for us" I said as I handed him the box to stencils and old files. Our hands touched for a second and It took everything in me not to blurt out that I want to keep in touch

"Hey Maya, I can't believe you're leaving me. WOW, time flies. I'm going to miss you helping me out, you've made everything so much easier for me" He replied

"Well, that's what I was here for. This time always helped me catch up with myself so it was nothing." I stated

"To me it was everything. You have my cellphone number, do not hesitate to reach out Maya, even if you're checking up" He replied

Did he really just tell me to reach out. "Okay Mr.Blake, I-"

"Maya, call me Aaron, you're basically a graduate now, I think you can call me Aaron now"

"Alright, Aaron," I said with a grin "I got to run, but hopefully you're at the ceremony tomorrow"

"I'll be there sending off my best student, no worries". I walked out of the class holding back the urge to skip away.

At this point, I know the conversation was nothing but to me that was the last moment i would really share with Mr.Blake ... or Aaron should i say.

I finally make it to the store and my closest friends Vanessa and Eric are asking me what took me so long. "My phone was on silent, my bad. I had to return Mr.Blake's things. You know I couldn't leave without telling my baby good-bye."

"Girl shut up, he doesn't want you , he has a whole girl" Vanessa jokes

"See now I know you're lying, you just hating" I reply

Eric is already over this conversation and butts in " Vanessa bought the shoes for you since you decided to take your sweet time sucking Mr.B's dick, now can we PLEASE go get my shoes"

"Aiight Eric , you dragged it, if i was doing that i would not have made it here at all, thank you very much . And thanks V for buying them" i kissed Vanessa on the cheek as i pushed past Eric.

"Nah but are we all still going to that party after graduation together?" Eric asked

"Yeah we are, imma just have to stop home first but after that we Gucci" I confirmed and Vanessa agreed.
