If I'm the one who'll write a story. Would I write a story that had a happy ending? or I'll rather write a story that had a sad ending?

I choose the latter, I choose to write a story that had a sad ending. Why? Is it because I wanted my reader to open their mind that not all the story had a happy ending. Just like in life, our life is like a roller coaster where we encounter Ups and Down. Not all the time we'll encounter happiness. I believed that our life will end in sadness that's why I always like to write a story who had a sad ending. I wanted to open the mind of  those readers to stop assuming that in every story there's always a happy ending. Wake up readers those stories that had a happy ending was not real. It is just an illusion that we keep on believing.
