05| Boarding

*AUTHORS NOTE: I'm so sorry I haven't posted in like a week! I've been so busy getting back into school and I met Taylor!!! It was amazing 😍 I also had my winter formal dance but anyways I'm going to try to post twice a week! It was a lot harder then I thought to post once a day... But love you guys!*

The next morning I woke up at 8:30 and didn't want to go on the mountain yet. I was so tired. I picked up my phone and I already had a text. It was from Gilinsky. I smiled when I remembered we were boarding with the boys.
It said "Good morning beautiful😍 text me when you guys are headed to the slopes. Can't wait to board with you ;)"

I replied "Hey cutie 😘 we'll be going out in about 30 minutes. Meet at the base at 9:15?"
Lauren and I got up ate a quick breakfast and got ready and all our gear on. I picked my favorite ski jacket. It was a blue and mint green Galaxy jacket with my mint green snow pants and boots. We grabbed our boards and ran to the bus.

When the bus dropped us off the boys were already waiting for us at the base of the mountain.
"Hey guys. Hope you slept well, ready to shred?" gilinsky said.
"It's going be some great Pow pow!!" Nash said. (Pow pow is boarders talk for powder if you guys didn't know! Hahaha) We strapped in and got on the lift. There was only four seats per lift so we had to split up.
"I'll ride with Courtney and Lauren! You guys can all go on the other lift!" Gilinsky said.
"Hey Lauren you can ride with Matt, jack and I can go on this lift." I winked.
On the lift we talked about our lives and jack told me a lot about himself.
"I know this is going to sound weird but I feel like I've known you forever." I said.
"It's not weird at all because I feel the same way." Jack said back to me.
When we got to the top we strapped in.
"You ready to be beat?" I winked.
"In your dreams." Gilinsky laughed.
Once everyone was ready we got up and rode down.
I was in first and Gilinsky not far behind me. He stopped to wait and I kept going a little when I noticed I stopped and sat down. When I was waiting I felt someone spray me with snow. I turned around and it was Jack.
"HEY! Not fair. You're just jealous I beat you." I said.
"Yeah a little." He said.
I got up and started towards him.
"Yeah! You better run Gilinsky!"
I threw a snowball at him and when I got close enough I pushed him over but as I did he grabbed my arm and pulled me down on top of him.
My heart stopped. Our faces were only about an inch apart.
He looked at me with those big brown, perfect eyes of his and then looked down at my lips.
He started to lean in and now we were only a centimeter apart.
"Hey guys!!" Nash said as he sprayed us with snow too.
"Dammit dude!" Gilinsky said.
I got up and helped jack up too.
He whispered in my ear.
"We can pick up where we left off later." He winked and boarded away.
"(Y/N) WHAT WAS THAT??" Lauren asked me.
I smiled and started down the mountain.
