alpha!Louis x omega!Harry

The day had barely even started and Harry was annoyed, which was incredibly unusual for him; he was usually polite and charming, the typical submissive omega. It was another normal work day for One Direction, jam packed with a few promo interviews for their upcoming tour and even a photo shoot on top of all that. All the boys were generally happy to be together--well, all except Louis, it seemed. Their normally easygoing, funny best friend was replaced by a snippy, angry and even possessive Louis. Harry couldn't guess what brought that on; but then again, it was bound to happen sometime or the other.

Louis was an alpha after all. But he's never been this bad or controlling, /especially/ over Harry. Louis usually treated Harry a little gentler than he treated the others, since he was an unmated omega, which was incredibly rare among male omegas. Male omegas were less common than female omegas, and usually had no trouble finding mates. However, Louis had been different all day: always guarding Harry with an angry, protective expression, snapping at anyone who went too near the younger boy, even people he knew Harry was safe from. Niall was a beta and Zayn was an omega mated to Liam, who was an alpha. Louis had been gripping Harry's wrist or making him stay close all morning, and quite frankly, Harry was annoyed by now.

Louis always claimed he didn't want a mate, and had nothing but friendly feelings for Harry, and yet he had been acting like Harry's mate. It was terribly confusing for Harry, who had spent the last few years being in love with Louis and desperately wanting to be /his/ omega. It was after the second interview when Harry moved away alone to get a snack, when he was yanked by his arm in a bruising grip.

"Not alone," Louis growled in his ear, the first time he'd addressed him directly all day, and Harry lost his temper.

"What's your fucking deal?" he demanded, not considering the consequences of talking to an alpha in that tone, even if it was one of his best friends.

Harry almost instantly regretted his words when he saw the look on Louis' face change. The alpha growled lowly, causing Harry to let out a soft whimper. Louis tightened his grip on Harry's arm, pulling the omega back towards him.

"You want to say that to me again?" he said to the omega, voice deepened by his alpha cords, something that he had never used on harry.

Harry looked down and simply nodded his head. No alpha had ever used their cords on harry before. So hearing Louis use his made him feel like he was a bad omega, alpha cords were used on omegas who didn't listen to their alphas. Mated to him or not, the words still brought tears to his eyes.

"I-I'm sorry.." Harry stammered out, voice barely above a whisper.

"Good boy." Louis finally dropped Harry's arm, causing the omega to let a soft sigh of relief. He would have to hide his bruise for a few days, the press would have a heyday if they found out he was involved with an alpha, let alone that alpha being one of his band mates.

The boys had a few more interviews before they were released to their hotel. The rest of the time, Harry stayed right next to Louis and he didn't speak much. He was still embarrassed from his telling off to try anything else. The others didn't think too much of it, figuring the omega was just a bit tired after the long day they had. Once their last interview was finished, the boys were driven off to their hotel for the night. They checked in and had their usual arrangements for when staying at hotels. Liam and Zayn in their own room, Harry and Niall in a room, and finally Louis having a room to himself. But louis wasn't pleased with this tonight.

"You can room with me tonight," Louis told Harry, not even asking if the omega wanted to.

"I'm fine rooming with Niall, it's what we always do.." Harry knew Louis wouldn't speak to him like he did when the boys were around. So he knew he was safe declining with them there.
