From age 3, I always loved playing with Barbie dolls. I enjoyed changing their clothes & brushing their hair. I never really had a father figure in my life though. Being the only child, I never really had friends besides school and it was very little at that. My mom was a single parent, she worked two jobs just to make ends meet. I truly loved her dearly, she was a strong woman. She never told me much about my father, I didn't care to ask neither. She was my father, my father and mother. We had a great bond when I was younger, she always spoiled me whenever she had the money. We had our struggles, but what family didn't? She worked her ass off to provide for me, pay bills & go to college part time at that. I commended her for that. Later on in life, I will eventually find out the secrets, lies, and deception I would later on face in my journey. Now 17 & transitioning, living on my own in a totally different state attending college full time. I would now see the harshness of reality. I would face and overcome many struggles to be the "woman" I always known I was. Hi, I'm Mya Smith & this is my life as I know it. Switching Roles.
