Chapter 1:The Transfer Student

Cedric Diggory, popular, smart, super handsome, intelligent and athletic, climbed into the Hogwarts express holding his trunk, owl and bag pack in one hand and in the other hand he clutched his two badges, Prefect, yellow and black with a large P and Quidditch Captain of the same making.

He made his way to the prefects' carriage. Everyone was waving at him and girls were sighing looking at his beautiful face. Then he walked into a compartment which consisted of some fellow Hufflepuffs, his friends and his Ravenclaw girlfriend, Cho Chang.

He sat down for a minute and chatted with them and then Percy Weasley, the new Head Boy entered the compartment, he was already in his robes proudly showing off his badge.
"Aren't you Diggory, the fifth year who has been assigned the job of the prefect for Hufflepuff?" he asked in a kind of superior and conceited. "Yes," Cedric replied casually. "Then come on fast and stop wasting your time, you have duties to fulfill." It seemed as if he was scolding him. Cedric quickly got up, pecked Cho on the cheek and whispered in her ear "See you later sweetheart." Cho blushed and he hurried after Percy.

Percy asked him to change into his robes, wear his badge and take a round to see if everything was running smoothly. He stepped out of Percy's compartment and got into an empty one. He quickly took off his clothes and changed into robes. He stepped out while simultaneously putting on his badge and suddenly he bumped into a girl whom he had never seen before.

"Hey, so are you new?"
"Yeah, I am Chloe, I transferred from Beauxbatons."

Cedric led her out of the carriage telling her that only prefects were alowed in this carriage. They walked into an empty one in the next carriage. They chatted for a little longer and then he left the carriage.

Cedric's P.O.V

Well, a transfer student never seen that before, anyways I have to do this thing, so let's just get over with it or else that monster will come again and start with all of that stuff about duties and responsibilities. Ok, I get it that I am a prefect and I respect this, but he seriously needs to cool down. He goes like way too far. I have always been good with all this stuff. The teachers trust me and so does the headmaster. As I walk down the last carriage I have to inspect, I breathe a sigh of exhaustion. Woah, that was something, then I got back to the compartment where my friends are and sat down to eat and chat. After a while I noticed Cho was glancing at me anxiously every minute or so. As soon as she became aware of the fact that I knew what she was doing, she quickly looked away pretending to be looking out the window.

Cho's P.O.V

You see, I saw Cedric with that new girl when I came to meet one of my other friends. I was astonished and honestly a little jealous although I knew that Cedric loves me. Really I couldn't help but stare at them when he showed that newbie into a carriage. I understand that it was his duty but I think that she was like a little cute. That is why I was glancing at him, looking for any changes. But thankfully there were none. He was just like himself, he was sitting there chatting to one of the boys, but he also had one arm wrapped around my waist. I felt so safe and happy in his strong arms, I really wanted to stay like that forever. Then all of a sudden Cedric turned and asked,"Cho, what happened, is something wrong?" "No,"
I replied immidiately. I knew he wasn't convinced so I continued, "Earlier I saw you with that new girl..." I was about to say more but he burst out laughing and then smiling at me he said, "Cho you thought that I would leave you for her? Really, I barely noticed her." Then I mentioned the fact that he showed her into a compartment. He said that was because she didn't know where she had to sit and ended up in the prefect carriage. Then he looked straight into my eyes and said, "I love you Cho, I would never give you up." His words were so sincere and touching that I relaxed immidiately.

Soon they reached Hogwarts and got down the train, climbed the carriages and reached the Great Hall at Hogwarts. When they climbed sat down inside Cedric felt someone's eyes on him he turned and saw the new girl, for a split second their eyes met he felt strange and immediately averted his gaze and stared at the empty plate. Soon she was sorted into Hufflepuff. She came and sat down next to him. She touched his hand he felt really strange so he placed his hands on the table. What he did not know was that something had happened....
