Chapter 3: Hatred and Misunderstanding

Cho's P.O.V

After I ran to my dorm I cried all night. I couldn't believe what he did to me! I never thought that he would do anything like this. I never thought that he would betray me. When we started dating I thought that he is the most kind, loyal, selfless and loving person I had ever seen. But now I know who he really is, he is a pathetic, selfish and heartless playboy. I hate him so much, I never want to see his face again. I was in my dorm, I didn't want to go to the Great Hall. Cause I knew what it meant. Still I went because my friends insisted. And the first person whom I saw was him...

Cedric's P.O.V

I woke up in the morning to that girl staring at me in the face. I was astonished, I shifted backwards, towards my bedposts. She was coming closer she was eyeing my shirt as if it was an inconvenience. Now she was way too close. "H-Hey, what are you doing?"
"Don't you know love," she said in an extremely annoying childish voice. "You already know that I have a girlfriend, and besides I won't date you even if I didn't have one." "Really but I thought you loved me..." she was saying all of this and was staring at me straight in the eye. Then suddenly, I don't know why but I felt the urge to kiss her. She came close and kissed me and sadly I kissed back. I don't know why. I felt the sudden urge to do that. And then...well I woke up and she was still in my dorm. I mentally cursed the rule of allowing girls inside our dorms. I remember her talking to me but nothing other than that. "What happened?" "You blacked out," was all she said and then she left the dorm. I was relieved that she had left. Then I got off my bed, took my robes and headed to the prefects' bathroom. After getting ready I headed to the Great Hall for breakfast. When I came down I saw Cho surrounded by all of her friends, her eyes were red and puffy, it was obvious that she had been crying. I quickly walked over to her. It was strange when her friends, who usually left giggling when I came near Cho, stood there glaring daggers at me. I was honestly surprised, so I said, "Excuse me please, I want to talk to Cho." Marrieta spoke, no wait almost shouted at me, "What do want from her now, haven't you done quite enough," she paused and then said the one word which I never expected to hear, "playboy." I stood there dazed, unmoving because I knew that no matter how popular I am, I am not a playboy. I had only ever dated and loved one girl and that was, Cho.

Cho's P.O.V

We all walked in and I went to the Ravenclaw table along with some of my friends, who were still comforting me. While I saw him go to the Hufflepuff table. I was relieved that our table was on far left whereas their table was on far right. The breakfast appeared on our plates, but I didn't feel like eating. I was looking around here and there, when I saw him talking to his friends. Suddenly I was filled with anger. I couldn't believe that he cheated on me and didn't even feel guilty. I didn't know if this event bothered him, but I knew it bothered me. I quickly finished eating and left for Charms Class. I was near a broom cupboard when he turned up from behind the cupboard and pulled me in...

Cedric's P.O.V

I was waiting for her behind the cupboard, I knew she had Charms so she would pass by. I pulled her in with me and sat her down. As soon as we came face to face she slapped me across the face. She shouted, "What are you doing?" I felt horrible, no one had ever done that to me. "Please Cho, just hear me out," I pleaded. She softened a bit and said she will listen to me. I asked her if we could meet after school and talk in private and thankfully she agreed. Today seemed to drag on forever, I was getting impatient staring at the clock and finally the bell rang. I stuffed everything in my bag and rushed out the class. I got a fleeting glance of Professor Flitwick rolling his eyes, but I didn't care. I reached the courtyard and Cho was already standing there, I was so glad that she was ready to hear me out. I was positive the confusion would be solved. I walked up to her and we went into the castle grounds to talk, our classes for the day were already over.
