"Be careful what you wish for cause you just might get it."
It may sound like I'm giving you a lesson in life, or maybe I'm just quoting the lyrics of a "Pussycat Dolls" song. We never know. And that's the point I'd like to make.
We never know.
We never know what might happen if you do something. And that something can mean anything at all. For starters, you never know what might happen if you lift a finger or bow your head.
It's crazy how those little actions can change everything in a situation. Let's put a deeper meaning to that, shall we?
What if you had to lift a finger so that you can choose which button to pick? Whether to save your brother in "A", or save your sister in "B."
Being the troll the villain always is, you are always given only one option.
You get me now?
Well you should 'cause I don't have anything else to help and support my explanation.
Whatever, moving on then.

Kyon
Ladies and gentlemen, I would like to inform you that I was having a debate with Haruhi. And god knows that I can't win even if I have a lawyer.
We were in the club room fighting because we lost to a CPU when playing videogames. Furious from the loss, she barked up the fault against me.
"You're being immature. It's just a game, Haruhi." I sigh wearily.
"Game or not, you should never boss around me!" Haruhi fumed as she threw the controller and stood up. "I'm the Brigade Leader so I'm the boss of you!"
Now it was my turn to throw the controller. "Haruhi, Listen up. I was not bossing you around! I was teaching you that cooperation and teamwork is essential! You were always rushing in to the point where you never give a damn to us anymore!"
Ooh, that sure struck a nerve. Her eyes flickered with rage and if looks could kill, I'd be a pile of ash now.
"Kyon, stop messing around with me!" she furiously screamed.
"Me? You're the one who should stop messing around! You always drag us into the weird things you want to do when you never asked if we were okay with it!"
Koizumi stood up alarmed, "Kyon, Miss Suzumiya, if we could just calm--" "Shut up, Koizumi. You're not part of this." Haruhi hissed.
Koizumi hesitantly backed up. Mikuru was shivering and whimpering behind Nagato who was calmly reading a book.
"You're despicable, Kyon." Haruhi spat, fury was visible in her eyes. Oh, for the love of videogames, give it a rest!
I sighed. "Okay, fine. Haruhi, I'm so--"
I was cut of by what I heard next.
"...get out."
I stared at Haruhi. Her head was hung low and her fists were clenched. But above all that, her tears were something I didn't miss.
"Look, Haruhi, I didn't---"
"I said get out!" She shouted as she pointed to the door.
A cold shiver went down my spine. "...okay. I'm sorry, Haruhi." I bowed slightly, picked up my bag and went out the door.
Just as the door clicked softly, I heard her voice.
Haruhi
"You're so full of yourself! I wish you and I have never even met!" I screamed right after he closed the door.
I sat on the chair and hung my head down on my arms. That Kyon is so annoying! He's despicable!
"Uhh Haruhi? Would you like s-some tea?" Mikuru asked me.
I didn't respond.
"It's okay, Miss Asahina, I'll take care of this." I heard Koizumi whisper to her.
"Miss Suzumiya, are you alright?" He asked as he sat down beside me. I sat up and folded my arms to my chest.
"Peachy. Perfectly fine, actually." I mumble sarcastically.
Koizumi frowned at my tone. "I'm not side with anyone but maybe you should've heeded what he had to say. Or maybe consider his apology at the very least."
My head snapped at him. "But Koizumi, he was rude! He was me, the Brigade Leader, around!"
"Miss Suzumiya, was there ever a time when he wanted to take that role from you?" He quietly asked.
"I...whatever. I'm going now. We're dismissed." I muttered as I took my bag and headed for the door.
I jogged down the stairs.
Pft, it's not my fault he was a rude grandpa!
I ran out the gate on my way home.
But maybe Koizumi was right... maybe I should consider his apology. Meh, I'll deal with him tomorrow.

Haruhi
I came to school today ten minutes before the bell. When I got to my seat, Kyon was not there.
Heh, he must've slept the morning away.
I check if his bag was there just in case but no luck, it wasn't there.
The lessons for the day passed by like a blur and before I knew it, classes were dismissed. I hurriedly gathered my things and stuffed it in my bag and jogged to the club room.
I burst through the door... only to see Mikuru, Koizumi, and Nagato.
I pretended not to be bothered and sat on the computer chair.
"W-would you like some tea, Haruhi?" Mikuru asked.
I hummed in reply. I booted the PC and checked the website.
"Here," Mikuru said as she gave me my cup of tea. "Thanks," I murmured as I sipped on my teacup.
"So," I began nonchalantly. "Why isn't Kyon here?"
Mikuru and Koizumi looked at each other and Nagato stared at me. "What's wrong?" I asked.
Mikuru shuffled uncomfortably. "Uhhh Haruhi?"
"Yeah?"
What Mikuru said next made me choke on my tea.
"Who's Kyon?"
