it got dark fast. i held my breath when he leaned into me. josh standing infront of me, holding my hand...going to kiss me.
then he pulled back with out touching me at all. he dropped my hand too. "bye." he said as he climbed back into his car.
i stood there on my door step. i hugged my arms to my chest and sat down. i rested my head on the banister and closed my eyes.
"missy!" i heard a familiar asian accented voice call me.

"missy!" i called her.
she looked up from her sitting position on her porch.
"michael? what are you doing here?" she asked.
"uhh..." i procrastinated not wanting to spit out the answer.
"michael?"
"dont let it be awkward-"
"when is in not awkward?!"
"i like you!" i cried throwing my hands in the air and waveing the deliberately. she stared at me, her eyes vacant.
