Short Note from the Author

Welcome to my first story!

To be honest, I'm not quite sure about what approach I should take with this opening note and the story itself, seeing as I'm not used to this kind of stuff... But starting today, I decided to come out of my comfort zone and publish one of the many stories that I spend too much time trying to finalize. And I'm really nervous but at the same time, really excited to do so.

So I always liked writing poems, even when I was a kid. My mind tends to be full of ideas to the point where I have trouble sleeping. And writing always helped me with this problem. I wrote plenty of poems in my life, some that are cringe and some that I actually like. I never told anyone about my hobby, and it took me until middle school to share my works with my friends. And that's when I realized that I actually have so much more room for improvement.

I was never really too fond of the idea of sharing my work with strangers. I was too shy and paranoid to even think about it. I always overthink about how people would not like it, and just that single thought really scared the crap out of me. But then I realized that it would be impossible for me to improve if I don't change this behavior of mine.

I'm still having trouble, as you can notice by how awkward I'm writing right now. But a friend of mine actually inspired me to stop being a baby. She's also a writer, and she also decided to publish her stories on this website. I feel like she deserves a special mention hehe. @Liicutie, thank you for being such a supportive friend!!

Back to the topic, I really hope you'll enjoy the story. I plan for it to be more engaging and likable, and I hope you'll be there every step along the way. And one thing to warn you about, English isn't actually my native language. So I'm sorry if there are grammatical errors and spelling mistakes. Though I always try my best to edit the chapters before publishing them. And before I forget. This book, especially the prologue contains a little bit of gore and blood. Though I try to keep it in a bare minimum.

If I got something wrong, you can always message me and suggest stuff that maybe able to improve the story. And please don't be hateful to the comments and let's all be respectful towards one another. And of course, feedback and constructive criticism are highly appreciated! EDIT 30/9/20: so I recently updated the description. I'm not quite satisfied with it so I might change it in the future. Anyways, thank you for giving this story a chance! :)
