Chapter 2: Meet the 'family'

Chapter 2

Dinner time.

The time of the day when parents and siblings gather to talk about their achievements and what went on during the day. Well, that’s what it is supposed to be right? In my household it’s my parents sweet talking Lea and Toby spitting on everything. This is the main time where my parents either ignore me or pick on me.

So, here is what my dodgy family consists of.

My mother. A successful designer who is an ex supermodel. Although I don’t know how being an ex supermodel can be called a success.

My father. A successful brain surgeon who has a degree in engineering. Not that engineering is going to help with brain surgery unless he’s going to do surgery on a robot.

Toby. My retarded younger brother who pretends he’s an animal most of the time and who eats dirt. He’s eight so I guess the dirt tastes better to him.

Lea. My bratty younger sister who gets everything that she wants. She’s fourteen so she’s still a ‘twelvie’.

Tina. My sister’s fat cat who is as lazy as hell because Lea feeds her too much. The poor thing.

And Pinto. My puppy who I bought with my own money because my parents don’t give me an allowance.

And Me. My name is Hayley Warman. I’m seventeen and I have a job at the local music store. I am the black sheep of my family and I was a mistake.

Yes this is a filler chapter and I am so, so, so sorry but I’m dealing with heaps of my own problems at the moment so I figured a filler was better than nothing right? So... What do you think of Hayley’s family?
