- Toot house

"You gon give me a baby? He asked me

"No" he sucked his teeth "Manii!" She came running to him

"Yes, toot?" She said getting in his lap.

"Yo mama won't let me give you a sister."

She look over at me and pouted "please mommy." Her eyes were glossy.

"I will eventually but not right now okay." She lowered her head and nodded. Then Ny whispers something in her ear to make her smile.

They get up and leave me in the room. When they get back Mani was fully dressed.

" where y'all going?" I asked Mani.

"I'm going with dad- I mean toot." She says

I look at Ny and he looked so shocked but like he wanted to cry at the same time. Mani looked as if she was going to get in trouble.

"Mani come here." She walks over to me and Ny walks out the room.

"What's wrong?"

"Can toot be my dad mommy?"

I didn't know how to answer the question " I mean if that's how you fell Mani do what makes you happy." She put her head down

"It's okay I'm sure Toot won't mind."

She nodded and we got up to find him. He was sitting on the couch in the living room.

"Toot." Mani said softly

He looked up and smiled with is arms out "yea littles?"

She walked up to him and he sits her in his lap. She looks up at him with her big eyes. "Will you be my dad?"

He smiles at her "of course I will littles." He gives her a hug and kisses all over her face and she giggles

"Okay let's go." He said

" y'all never told me where y'all going."

"We are going to mind our business that's why. I'm taking my daughter out."

I rolled my eyes and said "bye"

"I know you not gonna walk away with out giving us a kiss." I walked and gave them both a kiss and went about my day.

-Nan house-

"She said it by accident but the after she looked so sad so I just told her to do what makes her happy and she asked him of course he said yes." I said explain the whole thing to Nan

"Well it's not like it wasn't going to happen because if y'all did have a kid together then they calling him daddy would eventually make her want to call him that to." Said Nan

I nodded my head " I have no problem with it but it's like I don't want to get attached just in case."

"But at the same time pushing him away you might be blocking your blessing." Nan said making me open my eyes

"It's okay. But not every man is the same and you know it because you let him in more then you have anyone else other than Iman."

"You do have a point." I said back to her

"Yea I want another grandchild so get to it." And I just shook my head

"Wow is that all I'm good for?"

"Of course not I just would love another grand daughter."

"I don't think I could handle a girl. I would like a boy." She shook her head.
