"God, you're heavy," he grumbled from beneath me. I rolled my eyes, suppressing the urge to swat his head- knowing it would only worsen our situation. "Next time," he continued, panting between words, "you're carrying me."

I narrowed my eyes as we moved further across the field, watching for any signs of movement.

"You assume this is going to happen again?" I drawled, flicking my fingers as another piece of metal shot towards us. It was quickly surrounded by glistening soap, bumping into the giant bubble that surrounded us and sticking there, straining to pop the fluid. A myriad of miscellaneous metallic objects surrounded us, obscuring Jojo's vision as he jogged across the field with me stuck to his back.

I knew he was grinning without even looking. I sighed, continuing to keep an eye out for anything unusual. The user was, with all probability, in the school. It was the most protected area for them to hole up inside, and the worst place for Jojo and I to be. If this were my stand, that's where I would be.

I sighed to myself, watching as a stray nail spun in a bubble near my head.

"Caeasarino," he whined. I kneed his ribs in response, eyes focusing on movement further out. I blinked, peering as I tuned out his complaints.

"Did you see that?" I asked, pushing myself up to get a better view. Jojo looked around.

"Where?"

I pointed towards the copse of trees further out.

Another flash- almost as if a figure was ducking behind a bush.

"I saw it that time," he agreed. "Want me to head over there?"

"The magnetism is getting stronger," I mused. "My bubbles can only last so long."

He ran.

Nearing the brush revealed footprints, leading further into the field, further to where a pond glistened in the light.

"This is too easy," I murmured. Jojo shrugged beneath me.

"The faster we get this done, the sooner I can get you off my back." A soft snicker. "Literally."

I groaned.

"Mamma Mia. The sooner we get this done, the sooner I can get away from you."

"Hey!"

But my gaze was already moving towards the pond, where a figure in a red coat was sitting near the edge.

They glanced over at us, then back at the pond.

"Is that our user?" Jojo asked hesitantly. I sucked on my teeth.

"If it is, then it's a trap."

A quiet, contemplative hum.

"Well, only one way to find out," he said brightly, before heading on in.

As we grew closer, the figure was revealed to be a woman, legs crossed at the edge of the pond.

She gave us a bright smile.

"Hello boys," she cooed. "It's a wonderful day to be out here, isn't it?"

"Jojo," I warned softly. He crossed his arms, finger tapping out a rhythm on his bicep.

"I know," he breathed back.

She sighed, leaned back and crossed her arms behind her head.

Jojo took a step closer. The rocks on the ground shook, rose towards us. I trapped them in bubbles before they could get too far.
