Cody and Brandon had a very close relationship. They had known eachother since they were little, and for most of that time, Cody had a crush on Brandon but was to afraid to say it. He had been thinking about when to tell him and finally gathered up enough courage to tell him.

The too were walking home, Mikey walking home with Harper to not get in there way. Cody told him about it a few days ago, and happy that he managed to get alone with Brandon long enough to tell him. They walked in silence for a while before Cody broke the silence by saying, "Hey, Brandon?"
"Hm?" He responded, not looking up from the ground. "Uh-, can I tell you something.?" Cody's face was already turning a light pink. He took a deep breath before saying quietly, "I..like you."
"I like you too," Brandon, looked up at him and smiled softly, slowly down.
"No- I mean like- more than that.."
They eventually stopped walking, Brandon looking at Cody and giving him a confused expression. He started blushing and said, "W-what-?"
"I mean it Brandon. I..I love you.W-will you be my Boyfriend.?"
Brandon didn't say anything for a while and looked at the ground, his face blushing a bright red. He eventually choked out,"Look- I-I- don't think I'm ready for a relationship- I-I-I'm not saying no, I'm just not ready--"
Cody nodded and for the rest of the walk, a smile remained on his face, and when he got home, he immediately called Mikey.
"Guess what!" He sounded excitedly.
"What is it? Did he say yes?" He said throught the phone. "Well, not exactly hut he just said he isn't ready for it," Cody responded as he took off his jacket. "Well, ok. That's a good start."
"I'm so happy!" He squealed quietly.
"Well you dobyou. I'm just going to finish my homework."
"Ok. See you tomorrow." He said before hanging up. He hugged his knees tightly.

4 years have pasted and Cody and Brandon have been dating for 3 1/2 years. During that time, Cody was the happiest person alive. They cared for each other and loved each other and Cody was planning on proposing soon.
